As The Collector strolled through the area just beyond what was once a forest, and soon came to a halt in a small village that had been abandoned. The crystal on his bracelet was glowing.
"What's this?" He muttered to himself as he looked down upon hearing a faint hum emanating from the bracelet. "It's reacting to something." He thought aloud as he stared at the crystal.
"Not to be rude, you Majesty, but I feel I should bring up the matter of Gatz." Geetz said politely as he approached Relayia. "It is of dire importance that he be rescued as soon as possible. I do understand that your subordinates require medical attention, but after they have been tended to I think it would be smart for us to begin forming a plan to get Gatz out of Xastra's domain."
As the sphere grew larger the group of mercenaries backed away in wonder and a bit of fear. The only one who seemed to be aware of what was about to happen was Tech, but he was still a little too shocked to inform his team.
"Tech!" Zekter called out from the opposite side of the sphere. "What's happening?!" He shouted over the zaps and hum of the shadow-energy.
"He's...!" Tech started as he stared at the sphere. He checked the readings once more, and then looked at the spot where Draco once stood. "He's transforming!"
The sphere quickly shrunk down and into a new Draco. Needless to say the group was displeased with the turn of events, some more than others. Draco had changed into his wingdragon form, and was now a little over half the size of Donovan's beast form. Tech and Bullet stared up at the monster as it shrieked in anger, and Zekter drew his spear to brace for combat. Keiser, however, just stood where he was for a second before launching himself at Draco and then turning his legs into a huge arrowhead. The black mercenary spun himself about so that his head was aimed toward the ground and his arrowhead legs were aimed for Draco's neck.
The young man glanced around, but saw nothing that caught his eye. He started to move around the village a bit, but then the glow faded. "What the...?" He said as he looked at the crystal. He moved back toward the spot where it had started to hum and the crystal got brighter. ~Weird.~ He thought to himself. "But, I don't see anything here." He thought aloud, and then looked skyward. "No... Maybe..." He turned his eyes to the ground and then raised a brow. "Under the earth?" He said to himself. ~Can't hurt to try.~
A pair of angelic wings made up of prismatic energy formed on the young man's back and lifted him up off the ground. He aimed his left hand at the ground, and tried to focus on the energy that his bracelet was reacting to. Once he locked onto the power he started to call it forth, and as he did the country shook. The ground under The Collector cracked and exploded, and all over Japan cracks and even craters began forming.
"An...an earthquake?" Electra said in a bit of a panic.
Kujo looked around after kneeling and stabbing his sword into the cracking ground to help steady himself. "Is this natural...or something else?"
"I believe your suspicions may be correct!" Sheena said loudly over the rumble after doing as Kujo had with her own sword.
Ion lifted himself off the ground, and scanned the area briefly. There was no one else around, but there was another danger. "Rock slide!" He warned loudly after turning toward the mountain. Pieces of the mountain and loose boulders began tumbling down toward the group. The Purifier took action, firing small but powerful beams of blue energy from cannons built into his palms at the rocks, turning most of them into harmless dust. However, the earthquake continued, making chasms in the ground below.
