"Understandable." Geetz said plainly.
"Seril, would you mind if I asked your opinion on something?" Ion asked in his always distorted voice.
Geetz's eyes widened just a bit, and his head turned sharply to the Purifier. It was rare for Ion speak more than four words, and even rarer for him to ask somebody a question. In short, this was an unexpected event.

Bruno was a little thrown by The Collector's words, but he didn't let it distract him. "You and I have unfinished business, swordsman!"
"I'm a bit busy at the moment!" The silver-haired man replied, sounding even more annoyed. "Can I take a rain check?"
"Kill him." Bruno said to the other fire demons, but before they could make a move to attack a brilliant prismatic flash issued from the hole that The Collector had made.
Everyone present was blinded for a moment, and as their sight faded back in they could see a giant scorpion standing over the crater. The beast was not made of flesh and bone, but rather a radiant energy of white and pale blue, yellow, and red. The creature was easily four to five times the size of the great demon, Bruno, making it a very intimidating figure.
"Okay... That's different." The Collector muttered as he stared at the scorpion before him.
==Donovan's Throne==
"What I do is my own business, Gouki." Donovan replied coolly as he sat down.
"When it involves
my men, and screwing up
my operation, it becomes
my business as well." The King of Fire Demons replied with controlled contempt.
"Do you really want to know, samurai?"
"Yes." Gouki answered firmly as he glared down at Donovan.
"I was getting information, and gaining his trust. I'm looking for a way to destroy him from the inside, and if this information is leaked I will hold
you responsible." Donovan paused for a second. "Understand?"
It was plain to see by the look on his face that Gouki didn't buy a single word, but he knew he wasn't going to get any other answer from Donovan now that he had cooked up that lame story about trying to earn Ziatoch's trust. "Fine." He said, and then slowly turned around. "Play it that way if you like. But eventually
I will find out what you were doing there, Donovan...and when I do I will bring you down."
"Doubtful." Said Donovan.

Zekter stayed by Keiser & Bullet while they got ready, and Tech flew around with Draco tailing him for a while to keep him occupied. So, while Tech was trying to avoid getting eaten Bullet was transforming into her Metal Body form, and Keiser was going into Overlimit.
"So, does that genius have a little something to go along with this, or did he get distracted before he finished the plan?" Bullet asked Talbain as she waited for Keiser to give her the go-ahead.
"A solar beam launched directly at you, just like before." Zekter replied, keeping an eye out for incoming danger.
After a moment Keiser's whole body went rigid; he had reached the level power he'd need for Zeta Strategy. He turned his head to Bullet, and gave her a big nod.
"Okay. Let's rock 'n' roll." She said, noticeably a little nervous about doing this, but she knew it had to be done. The two charged off toward Draco and Tech, and the young woman shot a flare of Crysis up toward them to signal her comrade.
Tech was quite gleeful and relieved to see the flare, and then swooped down toward them leaving Draco in the dust. Bullet took the lead position with Keiser following just behind her metal form. As Draco flew in toward them the young woman took in a deep breath and braced herself.
"Here we go!" She exclaimed, and then back-flipped and landed on Keiser's shoulders with her hands. Her body just seemed to melt onto Keiser's, and quickly coat him completely.
Black eyes suddenly opened on the new Keiser, outlined with a burning red energy. He shot at Draco with much speed, and at the last second he jumped into the air, transformed himself into a massive spinning drill, and soared toward his foe. At that very moment Tech fired a full power solar beam from his arm cannons at Bullet & Keiser's merged form while Zekter III cooled the weapons with frigid air from his maw. The grand shadow dragon screamed in agony as the drill dug into his now solid form. He tried again and again to put up a barrier, but it wouldn't hold against the power of this attack, and because of the light that engulfed them he couldn't merely become intangible and let them pass through for even that would kill him.
"Nnnooooo!!!" Draco exclaimed with rage, hate, and pain as the drill pierced through to the other side, and then finally went completely through his body.
"Ahh!" Tech shouted as one of his cannon overheated, and blew a few fuses. He speedily unequipped the weapons and let them fall to the ground.
As the body of Draco faded into nothingness Keiser+Bullet returned to a human shape, and then reverted back to their two separate forms. Keiser's Overlimit was now gone, and Bullet's Metal Body quickly faded away after she reformed.
"Well, that was..." Before she could finish her sentence she passed out on the ground, in the same instant that Keiser fell to his knees.
Zekter's eyes widened, but then his expression went right back to a calm one as he rushed over to his fellow mercenaries. He crouched beside Bullet, but first looked at Keiser. "Are you alright?" He asked, and received a small nod from the black merc. He then looked Bullet over, quickly deducing that she was alive, and merely worn out from merging with Keiser.
"Will she live, doc?" Tech asked jokingly as he stood over Zekter.
"She'll be fine." He said coldly. "She needs to rest, that's all. We should find some place to safe to make camp."
"Make camp in the city?" Tech asked as his helmet retracted revealing the one raised eyebrow.
"No. The city isn't safe. We should find a close location outside the city that is quiet and safe." He said as he rose up with Bullet now in his burly arms.
