He frowned at the armored figure's comment. "Not killing me would be a start," he muttered as he got up off the rubble, placing himself in a sitting position on the makeshift hillside of rubble. He looked down between his feet, trying to think.
Okay, woke up with a headache. Saw a fight with monsters. Found some wierd-looking rod. And nearly got turned into an interesting-looking smear on the ground.
He thought harder, wracking his brain on the situation and what could've happened. He felt fine, physically. No injuries on his body, he had suffered nothing more than injured pride for the most part.
Dragon... The word danced across his mind fleetingly, causing him to perk up. Rising Dragon... It faded away completely.
Well, that was interesting. What the heck is that supposed to mean.. He looked over at the torn right gray sleeve of the undershirt he was wearing and ripped it off, leaving his arm bare save for the short black sleeve of the t-shirt he wore over the gray shirt and the fingerless biker glove on his right hand. He picked himself off the rubble, brushed his brown hair from his brown eyes and turned to the others.
"If anything, call me R.D." he said, pocketing the rod he held. He then looked over at the one who spoke to him.
"No, I don't really trust you at the moment. One of you was about to crush my head in while that... thing," he said, pointing at the met, "is going on about killing me."
