With a powerful flap of its wings, the demon shot to the side as the fire beam streaked past it and swooped forward at the Reaverbot, holding its greatsword in a position to stab its lower blade downward, as if to put it into the head of the machine.

Elsewhere...

"Great. Just great."

The blue-skinned woman sat down on a piece of rubble in a huff, her heavy, unoccupied sleeves flapping behind her. "Where the heck are we now?"

The other woman, clad in more earthly attire and with normal skin, glanced about. "I don't know..."

"God!" The first woman smacked her forehead. "Why'd we have to stumble into that stupid portal in the first place?!"

"Sister...we had no choice. You know that."

A sigh from the first. "...I know...I just want to know where we are."

"Come on." The second held out her hand, which the first took so that she could be pulled up. "We might as well try to see if someone's alive around here so we can find out."

The demon smiled as it twisted the blade in its hand, catching the fire beam upon the flat of the blade. The force of the beam actually caused the demon to slow, but with another powerful flap, it pushed forward, slamming the blade of its greatsword into the ground just an inch from the Reaverbot's jaw. The demon landed just next to it, grinned, and planted its foot against the side of the Karumuna Bash's head, and shoved it away onto its side.

Finally, Matt had to intervene. Getting to his feet with some effort, he held up his hands. "Everyone stop this crap right now so I can get some answers!"

"Real effective..." Hugo deadpanned.

The demon smiled and leapt into the air, unfurling its wings and taking flight. It turned and swooped over the boys, then dropped to the ground in front of Matt. Its wings shrank and disappeared into its back, then it reached up and grabbed Matt by the throat, bringing the boy up to its eyeless face.

"You'll get your answers only if I decide not to kill you, boy," it whispered to Matt.

It then dropped the bespectacled boy and turned to its mechanical foe, and dashed forward to meet it, as it had already turned around and begun another charge. It leapt forward into the air, its claws outstretched, ready to meet the Reaverbot head-on.

"The f***'s your problem?!" Matt demanded. "I didn't even want to fight, I just wanted to know who you were!"

In the distance, a behatted woman, hidden by the extensive debris, glanced over a ruined wall very briefly before ducking behind it.

"What'd you see?" her blue-skinned companion asked.

"Two boys and something fighting a mechanical hound. Probably a demon."

The blue-skinned woman arched an eyebrow. "You really saw that?"

"Yes. I'm not sure what's going on, but if those boys fall into mortal danger, we must intervene."

The demon's wings unfurled from its back again, allowing it to glide up slightly and land on the back of the Karumuna Bash. It then leaped forward again, using unholy strength to help push himself away to glide across the street-and the Reaverbot forward, straight at Matt, Hugo, and R.D.

OOC: Okay if I break the Reaverbot, Juno? I gotta get across that Matt's not exactly what he seems to be.

OOC: Actually, me and him didn't want it broken just yet. You can stop it, I think, but not destroy it.

OOC: Can I just toss it aside with ridiciulous ease, then?

OOC: Tis up to Juno.

"NYAGH!" Matt promptly spazzed as Juno materialized before him.

Hugo didn't lower his pickaxe. "It's that crazy Juno person..."

"Who's that?" the blue-skinned girl asked, now peeking over the wall with her sister.

(OOC: Damn computer troubles. Sorry for the delay.)

R.D. stumbled backwards and landed painfully on his rear as the Reaverbot stopped in front of them, but didn't cry out when Juno reappeared in front of them.

The demon landed on the ground, allowing his wings to return to his body. He turned his eyeless stare upon Juno.

"Ah, so the Ancient shows himself at last. And a Bureaucratic Model. I had thought it was a Purifer Model that had sent the little toy to face me. Surprises abound, don't they?"

It walked over to its sword, yanking it out of the ground.

"It was a nice game while it lasted, Ancient," the demon said, "But I was growing bored. Reaverbots, even those such as Karumuna Bashes, are just no fun to play with these days."

Naze jumped down from the platue and walked to Awai and Isis, his cain leading the way as usual. He stopped only but a foot or so away from Awai and Isis, forming a triangle. He nodded to Awai and Isis.
"So, I see your forming your army, I haven't seen that in ages. Are the seven that much trouble? They seem kind enough to me, I've talked with Carnax recently, and he was quite polite. Then I had means to talk to you and ended up speaking with Derek and Samari in your sted. Of course I didn't stop my, hunt, if you will, for you. As I'd like to see how you were copeing with the Seven, who have taken over the world nearly, only but a few cities remain untouched by the darkness. Of course that won't be for very long, as we both know." Naze said grinning widely with his cain tight against his legs, as usual.

Morph shrugged. "Well then, I'm going to go right through you, Mirror-Me, if you don't mind." He said to the black mirror ímage of himself. As his own body started to lightly seem to vibrate, he walked forward, his movements obviously exactly being copied by Mirror-Me, thus walking right through him. He chuckled. "Alright! Houston, I'm going in!" He said, before running for the temple.

Morph climbed in through an opening at the tip of the temple and dropped down. "Woah, it's kinda dark in here." He muttered. A smile crept onto his face. "Oh well, when it's dark, things reflect less, so I would think that Mirror-Me would be weaker than me in here." He chuckled. "Let's see, now, what is this place exactly like?" Morph wondered, as he started to walk around a bit.

"Never mind the fact that you've already pissed me off enough to deserve some ammo in the face," Matt spat, taking his position next to Juno, pointing his index and middle fingers at the demon. "But I feel nice. I won't pump you full of electric lead if you tell us who the hell you are and why you followed us."

Naze looked over to Isis remaining silent. His grin turned to a forwn.
"Nothing." He responded with a death glare fixed on Isis. Darkness took him with his glare going last. He reappeared on a mountain top, Mt. Rushmore. He stood up there looking down at the chaos at hand. Though he didn't see Carnax, he could care less. Naze was in a most fowel mood at the moment, his frown showing rage as did his glare that he gave anything within his field of view. Then a dark mist began to surround him, as the darkness around the state was being absorbed into his body. Demons became stone statues, people began to turn to ash in thier tracks. Darkness swelled around Naze's body, even one of the most keen sight could not see through even the top of it.

"Awww... man!" Morph whined. "Can't fate ever give me a holiday? Or at least a fifteen minute coffee break?" He shook his head and faced Mirror-Me. "Ow well." He shrugged it off and got two blades of his own out. As he wanted to get ready, he suddenly thought of something. "Wait, I don't even LIKE coffee!"

The area was cleared of evil, and light. There wasn't anything there, no light, nor darkness. Just a baren wasteland, of ash. Naze stood stall on the pile of ash that once was Mt. Rushmore. His eyes glowed a dark purple and changed to a black.
"Soon...I will have the power of Kuro...in the palm of my hand." He said horsely while he held out a hand. In the palm sat a mini sun, though it was as black as night. Naze through it in the air and was engulfed in darkness again. The orb flew high then dissapeared. There was a pause, it seemed time had stood still. A flash of light erupted from the orb and exploded casting the ash then imploded bring it back. Soon the ash was sucked into the vaccum the orb made. After it had ended, a dark mist covered where the ashes once were.

Naze reappeared in the middle of Florida. People were running franticly as Carnax's minions poured into the land. Carnax himself was still tending to Louisiana. Naze smirked as his eyes widened largely. The glow remained from his eyes. The demons ran to him, attracted by the dark aura he gave. Though as they grew near and large wave of darkness flew over the land. The sky was covered in the said darkness. Whirlwinds tossed the demons in circles as were the people. Screaming were both, in pain, and in fear. Naze raised a hand as several blasts of darkness hit all of each and brought thier darkness to him and destroyed the light. All was quiet, only the sound of the strong winds of darkness echoed through the air. Naze stood still, his body stiff, like a statue. His cain was against his legs, his feet in a v formation and his head hung. Again the land was of ash. Naze smiled and looked up, his eyes still a glow.
"A surprise for master Carnax." He began laughing sinisterly as darkness took him again, leaveing the land in ash.

(OOC: Darkness, please. Learn grammar. Follow Juno's advice. Also, sorry for being gone so long. Idiots broke the internet for a while today.)

"Am I, now?" the demon sneered quietly at Juno's words. "I have killed plenty of your ilk in years past, Ancient. Your words, your threats... hold no meaning to me.

It turned its eyeless gaze onto Matt and started to walk forward. "You think you'll give me mercy, boy?" it spoke, "Do you really think I give a shit about what you can do? I know your powers, Willard. They, like your Ancient babysitter here, mean nothing to me."

It stopped before the bespectacled boy, licking its lips with a long gray tongue. "Only one person here has EVER managed to strike down a Khaglessi before, and it is certainly not you or the Ancient. So why don't you ask him about who I am, or why I followed him. Yes, him. Not "us" as you so nicely put it. You, your pathetic quest to close the rips, your angry little metal-headed freak of a pet... also mean nothing to me. You're just along for the ride."

It paused, then laughed. "Oh, my apologies. The one who could tell you everything has lost all his memories. Poor child."

It suddenly shot forward and clutched R.D. by the throat, lifting him high into the air.

"You may have lost your memories, boy, but I certainly haven't lost mine," it snarled angrily as R.D. clutched futily at the demon's wrist, "I still remember how you brutally ripped my brothers apart."
