...he knows about the Core? Matt's brow furrowed. I guess he's just ignorant about what'll happen if I don't return it to the Sanctuary...

His fingers realigned on the demon as he picked up R.D. "Hold it! I dunno what R.D. did to your brothers, but if they were dicks like you then maybe he had a good reason!"

Naze was now standing infront of a yellow long house, he stared at it, his eyes calm. Demons surrounded him, though he wasn't bothered. The house had a porch just as long as the front with the stairs at the side.
"That's Blazen's past...not mine." He said quietly as his eyes glowed once more. He began to float slightly and turned to the demons around him. He curled up in a tight ball while in the air, then shot his body out sending an immence wave of darkness over the land, the demons darkness were taken to Naze as the laight around the area was destroyed. He sent another pulse through the wave making a large crater under his feet. The wave spred through all of the state was in, New York. Again, all that was left was ash, the darkness absorbed and the light destroyed.
"So much darkness so little time." He mumbled as he remained floating with his body in it's normal position as if he were on the flat ground.

The Khaglessi snarled and raised its greatsword up, using its twin blades to catch both beams and turn them away from it. It turned its gaze back to R.D. "Luckily for you, you're still needed. You will survive for a while. But when you've fulfilled your purpose, I will mutilate you just like you did my eight brothers," is said to him. With that, it flung the amnesiac teen between the two beams, striking Juno squarely in the chest.

Not pausing to see its handiwork, the Khaglessi leapt out of the way of the beams, letting them slam into the building. It landed right in front of Hugo, who he kicked straight to Matt, forcing the boy to catch his Mettaur friend.

"Perhaps I'll make things a little more interesting!" it shouted as it took off into the air once more, its wings erupting from its back. "Perhaps I'll give you something more to do!"

It reared back and flung its greatsword at the opposite building at an angle. It glowed white and spun rapidly, turning into an unholy diskus. It struck the building at an angle going upwards, and a white line flashed for a split second. The girders gave way, and with an unearthly groan, the split building's upper half slid downwards and toppled forward, straight for the people below.

The Khaglessi grinned at its handiwork and summoned its greatsword back, then took off at rapid speeds away from the city.

"That little pisser!" Matt snapped after catching Hugo.

"Put me DOWN!" Hugo demanded, and Matt did, tossing Hugo aside to address the problem of the falling building. "Not like THAT!"

Yeah, this guy's definitely evil!Matt swore, running toward the building as it slid closer and closer to destruction. I won't let you hurt any innocent people, you bastard!

"Hsien-Ko!" the brown-haired woman gasped. "Those people-"

"I know! Let's go, Mei-Ling!"

In a brief flash of light, Mei-Ling, formerly a full-sized human, shrank and flattened into a thin slip of paper. Caught in mystic wind, it attached itself to the front of Hsien-Ko's strange hat. At that cue, Hsien-Ko's pale arms sank into the previously empty sleeves behind her, and the tremendous claws hanging out of them came to life, now under the strange girl's control.

"Let's go!" Hsien-Ko said, and, stepping on the air itself, rushed toward the scene in a fast and peculiar air-walk.

OOC: Aw, Juno...I wanted to do a super special awesome rescue and properly intro Hsien-Ko.

Naze half turned his head. His face was bland, he didn't feel threatened, nor disturbed.
"Namonai, what do you speak of yet?" He asked firmly, showing that he would have his answer either way.

OOC: How about a super special awesome edit of your other post so that I can still do that?

"I don't have time for these antics." Naze groweled as darkness took him, avoiding the attacks. He resolved on top of what was left of the White House he looked out to see the demons doing as they will. His eyes were still glowing of the black. "Hmmmm...What was that man talking about...yet? Does he intend something for me...? No, this is my story to write. I shall continue!" Naze delcared as he lifted his free hand letting a large orb of darkness form in his hand, it was big enough to make a gaint feel like an ant. He threw it into the land below, it expanded engulfing everything in darkness and destroying the light. The darkness saved, became a mist as it sunk into his skin. Again his power grew. "Four states down, fourty-six to go." He thought.

The Khaglessi halted in front of Juno, falling backwards to avoid his attack. "Damn Ancients... why couldn't all of you just die out?" it muttered as it shot behind Juno, lashing out with its greatsword.

"Hmph...." Naze merely stopped absorbing the light. He snapped his fingers letting a fierce surge of darkness destroy the remaining light. "Who are you getting your revenge on?" He asked plainly. Though he didn't care so much, he might as well learn something.

The Khaglessi flapped its wings and launched upwards into the air, avoiding the explosion completely. It sneered and then chucked its greatsword down at the Ancient like a spear, watching with glee as the blade passed through the AngelWater unharmed and unimpeded, cutting through it straight to Juno.

===With R.D.===

The amnesiac teen pushed himself up from the ground, coughing fitfully from all the dust. He felt... strange... there was no other way he could describe it. "Have... to stop Juno..." he muttered between coughs, "Doesn't know what... he's dealing with... I can't let that monster kill him..."

OOC: Bah. Next time I get to super special awesome rescue someone.

"Hey!" Matt whined as Juno's beams incinerated the building. "I was so up to doing a super special awesome rescue, too!"

He promptly turned around, promptly bumping into someone who appeared to be walking on air.

"Ah!" The girl lost her balance and plopped on the ground, a massive claw instinctively holding her hat. "Watch where you're going!"

But Matt was too busy taking in the sight of the creature he had bumped into to make a witty retort-distinctively blue-skinned, the girl wore strange, baggy clothes, but with monstorously sized claws like that who could even bother to think about her clothes?

"...who are you?" he asked.

"I'll explain later," the girl quickly said, hopping to her feet. "Is that robot your friend?"

"Juno? Eh...he's not a bad guy, I guess."

"Good. We should go help him."

"Hold the phone!" Matt interjected, but the girl had already ran off toward Juno and the demon.

Mirror-Me stood right up in his full length, walking closer to Morph.

"Ow well. Screw coffee." Morph spoke. He pulled on his Riter gauntlets and waited for the other to come closer.

Mirror-Me, however, as he was a copy of Morph, basically, also had Riter gauntlets, and he, too, got them on.

"Oh man, you dirty little copycat!" Morph shouted. "...Oh..." He uttered, just a second later. "No wonder people hate my way of fighting. Hehe... guess you learn something new every day."

"Hmph. It was never my intention to fight, merely to watch in case the boy was in trouble. But it was your little animatronic puppet that had to ruin that."

The Khaglessi raised one hand to Juno, causing its sword to reform from its destruction without Juno even realizing it. The greatsword began to twist and change, thinning and lengthening, until it was a wicked dark gray spear ending with a barbed blade.

"But you know... perhaps you should ask yourself that same question, Ancient."

With a twitch of its hand, the Khaglessi sent its spear straight back up at Juno's back at near-sonic speeds.

OOC: I have fears this fight will last longer than it should, so...where are you taking this, exactly?

(OOC: Not sure. Never intended to bring him into the battle until Juno sent the Reaverbot after it.)

Mirror-Me struck his left arm forward as he rushed towards his original. Morph parried the attack by side-stepping to his right, Mirror-Me's left, and knocking away the gauntlet'd hand, as he sweeped his right leg against the backs of the other's knees, making him fall onto them. He then quickly got behind him, and used his left hand and arm to hold his opponent's arms, and with his right, he held his Riter against Mirror-Me's throat.

"I am sorry, but I do wish to be done soon." Morph told his mirror image.

(OOC: Sorry if this is out of bounds, Juno, but I need to bring a swift end to this fight.)

The Khaglessi smiled back.

"The same goes to you, Ancient. Your shielding can only allow something of the smallest form through. Only atoms could possibly slip through unnoticed. Quite foolish, for I have the ability to control every single aspect of the weapon you just carelessly broke. Right down to the sub-atomic level."

With a malicious thought, the Khaglessi mentally reformed the particles that had made up his weapon into a focused ball just inside Juno's barrier, then with a psychic blast, brought its entire will down upon it, causing it to explode into a massive fireball that, while leaving Juno unharmed, sent him sprawling through the air.

"Quite foolish indeed," the demon whispered before disappearing in a flash of orange light.

===With R.D.===

R.D. picked up his discarded sword and walked over to Matt and Hugo, eyeing the newcomer running off warily. Just in case... he activated the blade. "Matt... who's your new friend?" he asked.

OOC: Well, that solves that problem...I just sent a PM to Juno about ending the fight before reading this. <_<

"That's a good question..." Matt muttered.

"You think she's related to that catwoman?" Hugo asked.

"Another good question."

"Hey!" The blue-skinned girl was on the scene, and seemed to be preparing to launch an attack at the demon, but when he vanished, her sights turned on Juno. "Hey there! Are you okay?"

(OOC: Gimme some credit, Juno, he's stronger than he looks.)

"Catwoman?" R.D. asked, raising an eyebrow at Matt.

"It's a long story," Matt said. "If there's ever a campsite we gather around, I'll lay it down for you."

Hsien-Ko blinked, unsure as to how Juno knew her name. "Um...yes?"

(OOC: Did you forgot to give them your card, Juno? "Give us a call, we'll give you god-moding!"? :P)

Morph drew his right arm back in a kind of slashing motion. The image fell to the ground when he released it from his grasp.

"I'm sorry." He said as he stood up. He move his hand across his nose as if to wipe away sweat. For some reason... I feel rather sad. He was kinda like me, I guess... not really human, but still... it's not like any of my friends aren't human. He then straightened his face. Oh, wait. I forgot! One of those friends KILLED me! With a little bit of an angry look on his face he stepped away from the body. "Oh well, let's see where a kind of altar thing is so I can get that soul piece thingamajiggy."
