"Done arguing with your pet?" R.D. asked as the two of them returned to the group.

"We were actually having an important conversation," Matt said, quite serious.

"Looked like an argument to me," R.D. replied, then shifted the girl on his shoulder. "Well, let's get going. This place is starting to bug me.

So, nearest port. Well, Ondal, where the hell am I supposed to GO once we find a boat? R.D. thought in annoyance.

"If any of you sees a tourist shop or something while we leave, make sure to grab a map, okay?" the amnesiac teen said to the others as he began to head down the street.

"Whatever," Matt said to himself, annoyed. Nethertheless he began to follow R.D., with the others soon in tow.

(OOC: Yay! 500th post!)

R.D. caught Matt's comment, and looked over at him.

"I'd do it myself, but I don't know what a tourist shop here looks like. I doubt any of us even knows what city we're in," he said.

===Time passes===

Ugh, who'd have thought, R.D. thought to hiimself, that after that comment, I'd be the one who got the damn map?

R.D. still carried the girl over his shoulder while watching the map, following Matt, who had taken the lead. The amnesiac teen looked up just in time to see the city limits and the scant wilderness beyond. The sun was setting.

"So," he said, looking over at Matt, "Should we stop here for the night, or keep going until we hit the coast?"

"Let's stop." Matt glanced at the girl on R.D.'s shoulder. "I wanna check her story before we take her with us. She should've waken up by now..."

R.D. nodded and set the girl down on the ground gently, knelt down beside her, and examined her.

After several moments of silence, he saw the obvious conclusion.

"Damn," he swore under his breath, and stood up, scratching his head, "I think she did wake up, for a moment. And then fell asleep."

Indeed, the girl was breathing deeply and slowly, and almost seemed to have a smile of content on her face. He looked back up at Matt and said, "Let's just set up camp, and wake up sleeping beauty afterwards."

Mei-ling looked around, and noticed a fairly intact apartment building towering about them with the door slightly ajar. "Hsien-Ko," she asked, pointing to the building. "Go look in there and see if it's unoccupied."

"All right." The Chinese zombie ran toward the doorway, her huge sleeves billowing behind her.

R.D. grabbed the shoulder he carried the girl on and tried to rub some life back into it.

"Well, this has been an interesting beginning for a new life. Threatened by a guy with pink hair and a walking hat, got the crap beat out of me by long, tall, and ugly, got accused of mass murder by a demon, and last but not least, nearly got killed by a teenage girl."

R.D. sat down on the ground, next to the girl, eyeing her warily. "So," he spoke to Matt, "How'd you two meet up with Juno and DragonFire before you went after the Heartless?"

"Hugo and I just randomly walked into that city," Matt said. With a grunt, he sat down on the sidewalk, needing to rest his legs. "Then we heard a big roar and went to check it out, and it was Juno fighting DragonFire while he was all crazy and stuff."

"Tell me, Matt, what kind of crazy mess have we landed in?" R.D. asked while they waited on Hsien-Ko to return.

"HOLY FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK!!" Morph cried out as he was running from a giant, half-bird-half-troll beast thing monster. He had managed to get his hands on the Soul Piece of the temple, but only to find out it had also awakened this huge creature.

"Not-good not-good not-good not-good not-goooooooood...!" Morph uttered, whilst trying to escape the hidious thing. He ran around a corner, but found himself in a dead end a few yards further away. "Oh... shit." He spoke. Behind him, the great beast let out a mighty roar.

"This is a standard-issue mess for me," Matt replied. Now he had dug out one of the bottles of flavored water he had packed, and opened it. "Though I'm not sure about your current mess."

"Hey!" Hsien-Ko shouted from the doorway, waving at the group. "This place is empty! We can stay here!"

R.D. sighed in relief at Hsien-Ko's shout. He really didn't want another battle to deal with. "Well," he said as he got up, "Time to wake up sleeping beauty, I guess. Probably be better out here so she doesn't completely freak out by being in a strange building, no?"

R.D. knelt down next to the sleeping girl and started shaking her shoulder. After a few minutes, bright blue eyes fluttered open and she groaned.

"Ugh... where am I?" she asked groggily. Suddenly, it all came back to her, and she shot up from where she lay. She looked around wildly, taking in her surroundings, especially noting the ropes tied around her wrists and ankles. With frightened eyes, she turned her gaze onto Matt and R.D.

Naze kicked the blast away and stood with his hands in Blazen's jeans pockets. He stared at Virus with a stern look and thought with the coresponding sound. He sighed after a moment then turned around.
"Well thanks anyway, later." Naze began to walk away cassually as his form regained as Naze's and cain led the waym with the platinum ball glowing. As Naze walked a portal in front of him opened and closed as he passed through it, not letting even a molecule a air through behind him. "Why am I being attacked by Namonai left and right? It's becomeing rather irritateing, and that student of his best not follow me." Naze thought to himself as he walked out the other side of the portal. He arrived outside of a police station, the place was rather full of shadow creatures. Though he didn't bother them nor did they bother him. He walked inside of it...dead. He smiled knowing nothing was inside. "I think I'll fancy myself to a nice rest." He thought loudly and sat down on a bench. He kept his cain in front of his legs as he sat. He hung his head and closed his eyes.

"Now hold on," Matt said, lowering his bottle of water. "Before you freak out, understand that I didn't want you tryin' to kill my friend here if you woke up. But if you promise to behave I'll undo the rope."

"W-who are you people?" she asked tentatively, testing her bonds and looking back and forth between R.D. and Matt.

"That's Matt," R.D. responded, pointing to the bespectacled boy, "And you can thank him for the ropes."

"That's Mei-ling over there," he said as he pointed to the woman, then over to Hugo, "And that little runt over there is Hugo."

She looked over at him, and he said, "And I guess you can call me R.D." He stood up and offered the girl his hand, who took it and pulled herself up. "And you are...?" R.D. trailed off with his question."

"Alasea," the girl answered, "Alasea Dagenais. Why... why didn't you kill me?"

Naze's mind raced as he continued to sit in his seemingly sleeping state.
"I can't fight seriously yet, I'm too weak. Though it is good to know that the poison is gone...I hope. I must lay low...wait for the storm to pass and not let any lightning search and strike me...I must wait." Naze thought and took a deep breath. He lifted his hand and a small orb sunk into the ground then expanded. It covered the floor and leaked out side. The shrieks of the creatures and remaining citizen's filled the air of thier pain. The darkness came back to Naze, covered in blood and went into his body. Again he had collected more darkness. Though he did it, descritely so that no one would he did it.

"Because we're not jerks," Matt replied. "Well, Hugo's a jerk, but not a super jerk. Eh, you know what I mean."

"No one EVER knows what you mean," Hugo countered.

"Well, that's true..." Matt replied, thinking about it.

"And despite you nearly taking head off back there in the city, I won't hold it against you," R.D. said, "From what I hear, that city went through something bad."

Alasea hung her head. "Yeah," she agreed quietly, "That... thing killed my entire family. I was able to get my dad's swords... wait!"

She looked up again and gave Matt, who was still in possession of her weaponry, an reproachful glare. "Give me those! They don't belong to you!" she shouted angrily at him.

"You're not getting any sharp objects until I'm sure you won't try and kill us with them," Matt chided.

Having reapproached the group, Hsien-Ko chuckled. "You could borrow some of my weapons," she joked.

"No sharp objects period!" Matt said, spreading his hands.

Alasea glowered fiercely at Matt.

"I wasn't going to hurt anyone," she growled, walking awkwardly over to him.

"But if you don't untie me and give me back my daddy's swords, I'll beat you to death with the talking hat!" she shouted, pointing at Hugo.

"Finally," R.D. muttered, "Someone's come up with a decent use for Hugo."

"Well, now maybe I don't want to," Matt said, folding his arms. He tilted his chin up in a mock attempt at pompousness.

"I'm sure Alasea won't attempt to do us any harm," Mei-ling said, glancing at the girl.

"All right," Matt said, standing up. "Hugo, if she tries anything..."

Hugo's brow furrowed gleefully as he pointed his pickaxe at Alasea, energy humming inside the barrel of the weapon. "Yes, sir."

"Put that down!" Matt sighed. "Hugo gets a little carried away." He brought forth the swords, and with a flick of one of them, had sliced Alasea's rope bindings.

Alasea threw away the ropes to the side and took back the shortswords from Matt and sheathed them in the scabbards on her hips. Then after frowning at him, she kicked Matt in the shin. Hard.

"That was for being a jerk," she muttered as she turned away. She looked up at Hsien-Ko and eyed her curiously.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"OW!" Matt rubbed his chin. "You're welcome, bitch," he muttered, low enough for only him to hear.

"My name is Hsien-Ko," the Chinese jiganshi explained. "I'm Mei-ling's sister."

Alasea looked at Hsien-Ko for a few more moments, then sat on the sidewalk and drew her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them. "So what're you guys gonna do with me?" she asked them.

"Well, that's up to you." Matt straightened. "We figured we couldn't just leave you by yourself...and I'm not sure if...well...if any members of your family survived..."

Alasea curled in on herself even more, if it were possible. "No," she murmured, "No one survived. That beast killed everyone. Even the children."

R.D. frowned and shook his head slowly. "Well, you're no worse off than I am," he said, catching her attention. Before she could yell at him for his insensitivity, he held up his hands and explained.

"You have memories of your family. I don't have any of mine. I don't even know if I have any family," he said, making her angry expression to a confused one, "I have amnesia. Got it most likely from the attack."

"Alright," she said, standing up. "Is it alright if I come with you guys."

"I'm okay with it," R.D. said, and turned to the others, "What about you guys?"
