In my case, my dad constantly tells me that he hates me, my mom stops speaking to me every once in a while, and a small, GOTH, group of friends are more like my family than anyone has ever tried to be. So yeah, I'd take on the world for them, and they'd do the same for me. Yo dude, just be thankful your dad's around. Mine went to prission the day I was born, I've only seen the guy twice for a week in the 14 years I've been alive...and I was thankful for every day! So meny people take their perents for granted, they don't think about how life would be with out them, they don't try to put themsefls in the shoes of people like me who's dad has only seen them one, or two times since they were born, or people who have never seen their mother, and may never see her. Count your blessing mon ami.
I respect your loylety to your friends, I really do:cool: And I'm with ya on the "Don't diss goths or punks!" I, once uppon a time, was a punk--my older brother still is. However, some of the Goths and Punks today are a descrase to a once meaningful life style. Punks were all about anti athourity, and they were loyle to their fellow brotherin--they were like a freaking samari army (just without as much honor) If a bunch of Jocks or someone started pickin on one of the smaller ones, a dozen more Punks would come to his (or her) aid. The Goths were more like just a group of outcasts searching for someone who would ecsept them for who they really were. They were mocked, tuanted, and pushed around. At the time Goths were peaceful, however, I think they kinda got sick of everyone else putting them down all the time--so once they realized how their once tiny group had grown, they started fighting back, and then, like Punks, if you mess with one of them you mess with'em all:cool: I think the reason they ware what they do is to help reflect the pain, sarrow, and lonelyness they feel. Some of the Goths that I know of are poets. I think it helps them coupe with what goes on in thier lives, cause most of them are, well...either depressed, or just feel like they don't belong--which is kinda why the Goths were formed, to help people feel welcome, by puting them with others who have the same problems. I think one of the resones you see so meny Goths at schools is because that's where so meny of there problems are--people like preps and Jocks (no effence prince5) in a nutshell make their lives Hell. And that's why I have respect for the true Punks and Goths:)
