Prologue- the part of a story at the begining that tells the history of the main story, not always in sequels

That was for people who don\'t read much, and now...

Prologue
In the year 3241, science was at its peak. Teleporters, videophones, pocket computers with millions of gigabytes at the least. All that could be thought of was created. Even massive weapons of war were created, despite the world peace that now grasped the world. There had not been a war for over a millennium. Even the ecosystem had recovered from man’s former ways of destruction. Giant rainforests, lakes full of fish, animals hunting and scavenging on the plains, even animals that had gone extinct by man’s hands had been restored.
How did this immense change come about? A gigantic world war in 2136, known as the War of the Powers, occurred. This was caused by a struggle for power between the strongest nations of the time. It was the bloodiest war in history. More than two billion people died. It lasted for thirteen long years until one country in particular released an onslaught like none had ever seen. A giant laser cannon wiped out all the major cities on the planet. In a final alliance between the remaining countries, they were able to destroy the cannon and banished the ruler of that county onto a colony in outer space, far from the Earth and its inhabitants.
However, the 1092 years after the War of the Powers would be later known as the final age of science. In the year 3241, a gigantic fireball of unknown origins appeared in the sky. Only two things were known about it: it was heading for Earth and would destroy all life on it. Every form of arms was used in an attempt to destroy nuclear warheads, antimatter missiles, even the cannon from the War of the Powers was reincarnated to use against this threat. However, it was to no avail. They all merely glanced off of the object. Twelve shots from the cannon hit the moon and caused it to become a crescent for all eternity. One thousand nuclear warheads ricocheted off the blazing objected and destroyed the planet Mercury. The antimatter missiles, all five hundred of them, each with the power of ten warheads, decimated Mars completely.
On the day that it was believed the blazing red object would hit the planet, a strange group calling themselves the Sorcery Union appeared. They gathered at the exact point that the object would have impacted. Then, the leader of the group said, “I, Aduwan of the Sorcery Union call upon the powers of the ancients!” Right at the moment Aduwan said this, the rest of the group started to chant something in a language no one knew. As they chanted, Aduwan clapped his hands together and slowly moved them apart. Overhead, a huge violet and violent vortex materialized. The spiraling portal swallowed the fireball and sealed itself immediately afterward.
Shortly afterward, almost all things that were scientific and the sciences themselves were laid the rest and the knowledge gained placed in a building in the area that was once known as Death Valley. It was changed to Life Valley when a large valley was created in the year 3000. The only sciences left were genetic engineering and anything directly related to it. Its purpose now was to created creatures that were only true in storybooks, such as fairies and dragons. It also contains history records. It is known as the Archives of Eternity.
Now science has been replaced by Sorcery courses in schools. It takes twelve years to learn the basic spells and potions and such that are needed in the new world created. Advanced learning is available in the University of Magic. The highest level of ranking for most is Sorcerer. Most who just go through the first twelve years are called Wizards. People who don’t even take the full twelve years are called Magicians. The highest of all are the Mystics. There are only seven of them and they are the original Sorcery Union.
This is an age where sorcery replaces science and is used in all tasks as science once was. This is the Mystic Age.

I still haven\'t finished the first chapter of the book and I plan to make at least ten chapters, so it could be a while. I\'ve been working on it for about four or five days now.

Edit: I\'m going to try and put what I have on my geocities site. However, I won\'t put more than two chapters. I can\'t ruin the whole thing for you. If you like the first and second chapters, then post here!

Edit 2: I got the prologue and a lot from the first chapter on ExPage (couldn\'t paste it on geocities) but the link to it is on my geocities site: http://www.geocities.com/megamanbn507/index.html

P.S. It won\'t let me indent so it may be a bit confusing to read.
