I\'Ve Beaten My MMBN3 Game at they don\'t Net Battle...But There is something like that. Everything you said just no net battling.

Anyways, I think serenade is a girl, and she doesn\'t have M. as her operator..

Serenade=Girl. In America, its CoA effed up and turned her into a boy.
It\'s debatable so as to the navi topic, but I think the general opinion is that they are a team.

I know this is impossible, but what if the IceBall chip Lan gave to Mamoru was turned into the Giga Freeze by Serenade? Anyhow, we never see Mamoru's Navi and he is the Undernet administrator (and just happens to know where to meet Serenade and he shows up there). And I think Serenade is a girl, simply because Serenade doesn't really seem like a guy name. I know the game says he, but it doesn't seem like a he.
