Answer these questions if you want. I only want to see if anybody is good at thinking on their feet, and has that little thing called Gumption and Keen Sense of Observation. It\'s somewhat of a detective test, but any layman can answer this... If nobody gets all the answers within a month, I\'ll post them here.

Questions:

Some months have 30 days, some months have 31 days. How many months
have 28 days?

If a doctor gives you 3 pills and tells you to take one pill every half
hour, how long would it be before all the pills had been taken?

I went to bed at eight o\'clock in the evening and wound up my clock
and set the alarm to sound at nine o\'clock in the morning. How many hours sleep would I get before being awakened by the alarm?

Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get?

A farmer had 17 sheep. All but seven died. How many live sheep were
left?

If you had only one match and entered a COLD and DARK room, where there
was an oil heater, an oil lamp and a candle, which would you light first?

A man builds a house with four sides of rectangular construction, each
side having a southern exposure. A big bear comes along. What colour is the
bear?

Take 2 apples from 3 apples. What do you have?

How many animals of each species did Moses take with him in the Ark?

If you drove a bus with 43 people on board from Shibuya and stopped at
Hanajuku to pick up 7 more people and drop off 5 passengers and at Asahi to drop off 8 passengers and pick up 4 more and eventually arrive at Shinjuku 20 hours later, what\'s the name of the driver?

Maybe a week is too long...

Answers with Justifications

- All of them. Every month has at least 28 days.

- 1 hour. If you take a pill at 1 o\'clock, then another at 1.30 and the
last at 2 o\'clock, they will be taken in 1 hour.

- 1 hour. It is a wind up alarm clock which cannot discriminate between a.m. and p.m.

- 70. Dividing by half is the same as multiplying by 2.

- 7 live sheep.

- The match.

- White. If all walls face south, the house must be on the North Pole.

- 2 apples. I have 3 apples, you take 2, what do you have?

- None. It was Noah, not Moses.

- You are the driver.

Round 2: This seems a bit tougher, but it depends on you and how you think of it\'s ease/difficulty.

Here goes...

1. The maker doesn\'t want it; the buyer doesn\'t use it; and the user doesn\'t see it. What is it?

2. Before Mount Everest was discovered, what was the highest mountain on Earth?

3. Clara Clatter was born on December 27th, yet her birthday is always
in the summer. How is this possible?

4. What is one thing that all wise men, regardless of their religion or
politics, agreed is between heaven and earth?

5. In what year did Christmas and New Year\'s fall in the same year?

6. A woman from New York married ten different men from that city, yet
she did not break any laws. None of these men died and she never
divorced. How was this possible?

7. Why are 1990 American dollar bills worth more than 1989 American
dollar bills?

8. How many times can you subtract the number 5 from 25?

9. How could you rearrange the letters in the words \"new door\" to make
one word? Note: There is only one correct answer.

10. Which is correct to say, \"The yolk of the egg are white\" or \"The
yolk of the egg is white\"?

11. In Okmulgee, Oklahoma, you cannot take a picture of a man with a
wooden leg. Why not?

Good luck!

9. \"one word\"
10. Neither, the yolk of the egg is yellow.
11. You have to take a picture of a man with a camera, not with a
wooden leg.

6. none. It is a hole. There is nothing in it apart from air.

7. The ball in the 45°F Bucket would hit the bottom first because 30°F is LESSSS than the freezing point of water so the ICEEEE would get in the way. SSSSSSSSSSS. The same for in Canada.
