I recently played Pokemon for the first time in about 6 months .
I was wondering If anyone knew how to get SHINY pokemon I caught the Red (SPelling?) GYARADOS and wondered If I could Breed It with Anything to get another Shiny Pokemon !?

naw the only way to get shiny pokemon is to find them in the wild or get them from the breeder when they give you the first egg (REALLY RARE) or use the gameshark.

You can also get em by scaning some of the card\'s but not like ya gonna do that.

OK here are the chances of getting shiny pokemone (this pertains to Gold Silver and Crystal)
If you have the Red Gyarados, you can breed it with a Femaile Blue Gyarados (normal, and the Red mustbe male)
you will then have a 2 perent chance of getting a Golden Magikarp out of the Egg (iff any)
Catching in the wild: 5 % chance (to get a blue Swinub, seach in ce path for at least 5-6 hours(I was dedicated then))
Getting a shiny out of an egg from 2 normal Pokemon: 3% chance
and the E-Reader cards would only affect Ruby and Sapphire

Are you serious?! (jaw drops), Well, I have a friend that could hack that into a ROM if youd like (just ignore that), I wont stop playing the games untill I atually get a challenge out of it (right now its too easy to get 100% completion, including all 351 pkmn)

There was this Cheat well not really a Cheat , But you send the Red Gyarados to R/B teach it Mimic and fight a ditto use Mimic and transform , The ditto will transform then catch it . It should then be Blue .
It was on an Offical Page
I tried It Three Times did anyone else try it ? And did it work ?
