actually, it was australia. Sharman Networks made the software with good intentions, then added adware and spyware to make money from it. They had good intentions in mind, but they didnt go about it very well. If they added a feature that allowed users to send their shared file list to a server and have it checked for what files they could share, then have those files added to the search database, this wouldnt have happened. On the other hand, people have been able to hear and see things that they never would have known about had it not been for the fast track network. I have found many great j-rock bands through this and feel that those sharing US copyrighted content are ruining it for the rest of us. I feel sorry for the lady that founded the company. SHE has to deal with all this crap. I watch almost nothing but TechTV and G4, so i usually stay on top of these things, that is, when i can pry myself away from my computer and onto the couch in front of the tv.
