I tink everone has been cofusing JapanMan for YamatoMan. Yes, they are similar, but they are not the same thing. To my knowledge, there is no YamatoMan.EXE. The one with the glowing trident and green armor is JapanMan.EXE. He is found right after Shademan in the secret area.

Oops. Not Shademan, Darkman.

Well, Japanman.exe was SUPPOSED to be Yamatoman, but Capdumb of America changed it.

It\'s not Shademan, it\'s Darkman. And It\'s supposed to be Yamatoman, not Japanman.

P.S.: Since we are talking about Japanman which sounds like Japan (which is), has anyone seen that Joey commercial? The lipstick for men thing that\'s blue lipstick?

[No offence mode]Stupid Americans[/No offence mode]

They don\'t know anything about Megaman, but they do know how to say \"Bam Bam! Shoot Megaman, shoot!\" like a reatard. They don\'t know anything about the older days (Kids these days... just like newbs). Maybe Capcom is doing something smart for once with this anivercery (sp?) collection thing...:) . But they probly wouldn\'t understand the timeline. But this isn\'t all Americans, some like us (I only live here, I\'m from somewhere else in this world, but I only found out about Megaman when I came here) and I know so much, I know as much as older teens and as much as 19 year olds do and even older about Megaman. Anyways, younger fans and some olders don\'t know anything about the game or older games.

I thought it was Yamatoman.EXE in the Japanese version and it was translated into Japanman.EXE because Yamato pretty much means Japan. Either name is correct technially, it just depends on whether you favor the Japanese name or the American name I believe.

I don\'t think it is Americans that are stupid, its just that it shows a lot more sometimes. I think all people have their own trace of stupidity, and you can\'t really narrow it down.

Oh, and Yamoto was a specific clan in Japan.

If young means teen, then I still feel insulted . Us Americans, you\'d be suprised how smart we are. We have CoA smoking crack, and (some) drunk teens, that make the rest of us look bad. Aw hell, same with NoA. We\'d prefer Rockman anyday.

No, I don\'t mean teens. I mean some younger kids (Well, maybe a young teen like 13 or something. But not you, you are a smart guy. And I think CoA was smoking some of the good stuff when they made the idea of the annivercery (sp?) idea...

I can only picture it....

*In the meeting room, the Capcom members are talking with wiskey bottles everywhere with a smokey room while the good stuff is on the table*

Capcom President: Hahahahaha....

*A guy falls out of his chair and keeps laughing...*

Dude A: So, I was thinking... screw Sony!

Capcom President: Hahahahaha....

Dude B: I remember 15 years ago when we made Megaman...

Dude C: It\'s my wife\'s anivercery (sp?) today... hahahahhaha....

Dude D: Megaman\'s anivercery...?? Hahahaha... *falls over out of his chair...*

Dude A: Woah! I\'m gonna play Megaman games 1 to 8 and play the power fighters!

Dude B: Thats a nice collection...

Capcom President: Megaman Anivercery (sp?) Collection... hmm.... donuts (sp?)...

Dude C: Lets make it!

Capcom President: Alright!

And so, Capcom wastes 10 million dollors for this... and goes to court with Sony to make them get the collection on PS2... then the police find a joint and some weed in the Capcom\'s president\'s pocket... Then he goes to jail... But you don\'t need to know that...

Sorry for being off topic! But this is what MMHP has to say:

\"I asked some friends of mine who know Japanese--who double-checked with a Japanese college professor--and the answer was that Yamato basically represents Japan itself. To some Japanese, I was told, Yamato is \"home.\" It was originally a province in early Japan (4th to 8th century) where it was the center of Japanese cultural and political activities. From what I understand \"Yamato\" is beloved by many Japanese because of what it symbolizes and thus the word has been used in many other places in Japan, as names of people, battleships, Robot Masters, and so forth. So you\'re going to hear the word all over the place for all sorts of things.\"

There has been a lot of Yamatos. Yamoto Cannon (Starcraft Terran Battleship weapon), YamatoMan(duh), Yamato is even the japanese name of Matt from the original Digimon.

Oops, I had written Yamato Can.

Yamatoman.EXE was pretty disappointing to me, I personally expected more when I started to battle against him. o_x Maybe CoJ got lazy when it came to making the guardians\' (I think that\'s what they called themselves) fighting techniques in the Secret Area.

Random comment: I\'m also surprised that the translators didn\'t rename Shademan to Vampireman or something ridiculious like that. :D

It is really simple. Bass\'s chip in mmbn 1 and 2 has a \"F\" for a chip code because Bass is really Forte and they couldn\'t change the code when translating. Now look at Japanman\'s Chip. It has a \"Y\" code for the same reason.
