I was disappointed with Nightmare in SC3, Siegfried was much better imo. But Astaroth was still as powerful as in SC2.

I like Sigfried, Mitsurgi, Link, Rapheal, and all my awsome characters from character creation.

I don't own any of the games, but I've read most of the stories of the characters. Siegfried is my favorite, and it seems to be the most fleshed out story from my understanding.

I'm just a sucker for those kinds of characters.

Siegfried is the most fleshed out character since he's basically the main character of the series (he's the weilder of Soul Edge, becoming Nightmare. He eventually destroys it, but still feels it's presence).

Well, anyways, I like playing as Nightmare, because he has a couple of nice moves. Besides, heavy broadswords = kick-assness.

However, I sometimes prefer to use Voldo, or Xianghua. Voldo for his kick-ass weird moves and style, and Xianghua to distract my opponent with her annoying voice whilst I keep button-bashing. ;o

I'd have to say Raephel. I don't know why, just I find him 'cool'. His quick attacks are pretty good against my friends, hardly anyone can beat me with him. I'm talking SCII of course. In III he can go to hell. I think they completely ruined him. His new evil path kinda made me mad, I liked his role in II alot more than III.

In III however I'd say Nightmare, I like how he looks and I think they made him better. His role is a bit more interesting, armor possesed by a sword is nice. He's also fun to use.

Now I'm just gonna say my custom ones in III are boss as well.

My vote has to go for Yun Sung. ^^ Well, as far as characters themselves go. ...To fight with, I'm best with Voldo...

Well, at any rate, Seong Mi-Na continues to be my big fave. Although I try to use all characters, my Seong Mi-Na continues to stay pretty far above my others.

I couldn't use either of them very well in SC2, but I like SC3 Voldo, Taki, and Astaroth a lot. I'm not sure whether I've just changed my fighting style or if they actually play very differently. Assassin was a lot of fun back in SC2.

Ugh... I lost my skills with Nightmare and Cervantes. They used to be my third and second best respectively, but not any more...

I put a lot of time into my SC3 custom characters, trying to make them look pretty unique. I wish I could put up pics of them... I almost unlocked everything, but failed because Chronicles of the Sword keeps corrupting my game data. Uh... I did unlock the...

Bah, Lloyd was okay. Sure, he started off annoying, but he grew as the story went along. Anyway, it will be interesting to see Lloyd in SC.

I didn't play as Lloyd, I played as Genis the entire game with the except of the 4 or so battles you didn't have Genis.
This made the solo battle with Kratos a beotch.
