Recoloring is just changing the color shceme, theirfor it doesn\'t show oo much talent, and it really brings you down if you suck at i (not that you do) so in order to be a good re-color artist, you only need MS paint. Use the Magnifier and zoom in to 8X. From their, use the fill tool and create your own colors buy double clicking on the pallete, from their, you can get diffent shades by moving the bar on the right up and down, after awhile you\'ll get a shading effect (like most sprites) Don\'t go too crazy with colors, and stick with a GOOD color scheme (bad ones such as red and blue or green and red) unless you can make an unusal scheme look good. Start recoloring mario sprites to learn how to add onto the sprites and then to make fusion sprites (mixed sprites) use the origianal megaman sprites. To just fool around and make neet character no mateer what the scheme or technuige you use, use sonic sprites. I hoped I helped.:D
thanks so much You Rock

Colours do not matter to me.
"I worship the Supreme Comrade Cossack!" yeah, I passed the n00b test.
Poor Hardman.
Actually, a good one to start with is the 8-bit Rockman sprites
Many programs have a zoom function that will make individual pixels more obvious. It oftentimes helps when editing 8-16 bit sprites.

Hmm, pretty good, just keep practicing, and like Mega X.exe said start off with 8-bit, then work your way up to 16-bit, and finally 32-bit.
Then try customizing them with different body parts!
And with a lot of patience and practice you\'ll get better and better!

Urk...so maybe I did a bad thing recoiling a 16 bit first(avitar)
No, you may have gotten too deep too fast, but it\'s not too big a deal.
eah,and if what you said is true,I should be real proud of this \'cause I think it turned out well.
I started on 16-bit first it was a recolor until i made a few adjustments the next day though Start with 8-bit.
