Has anyone read any of the \"No Need for Tenchi\" graphic novels or mangas? While I was a big fan of the show, I enjoyed the manga that my brother and I recieved for Christmas even more highly. It was entiled \"Volume 4: Samurai Space Opera\", and man, was it good!:D

While watching the vibrant (and much less expensive) show on my TV was fun, the heavy inking, wild anime effects, and incredibly large eyes in comparison to mouths truly take me in to the world of Tenchi. However, Tenchi is rarely mentioned in the mangas (go figure). If you liked the shows, trust me, you\'d love the mangas.:D

Sadly though, there is no Kiyone...

I liked her...

Which of the Animes did you see?

Tenchi Muyo (favorite): No Kiyone
Tenchi Universe: A good deal later
Tenchi In Tokyo: From the start

BTW, is there any reason that Tenchi isn\'t t here?

Tenchi\'s there, but...
the funny thing is, he especially mentioned that he was the main character, but didn\'t get any main part in the manga.

Well, the funny thing is, they make specific jokes throughout the comics as to the fact that he is rarely mentioned. He is a very unlucky guy, although many would think otherwise.

I watched evry series. And true, Tenchi Muyo lacked Kiyone as well. Mihoshi is cool and all, but she loses a little of her character value without Kiyone to back her up...

I\'ve read and seen the manga and anime, but AimMan v2.5 is right! No Kiyone is very bad! Hopefully she\'ll be added later. She\'s my favorite character.
