Yesterday I saw this new game that reminded me of MM Legands. I had $40 to blow so I figure why not?

*20 min. into the game*

\"Burning fist of death! Mwahahaha! Kill my little minions! Go ninja SLASH!\"

DESTROY...
DESTROY...
DESTROY!!!

*pant pant wheez*

\"Yes...I win...man I need a pepsi.\"

--------------------------------------

So in short, if you want a game that takes pokemon and makes into MM legands and then adds even more super-overkill-fun explosions than this is the game for you. It sure is the game for me.

So, have you played it?
What do you think of it?

Go buy it...not later, now.

I am not kidding, this is not a game to be missed. It makes me sad that so many game Mags gave it such crud reviews.

What exactly is it? A RPG or something?

Sorry...I was sort of \"out of my mind\" during my last posts.

Gotcha force is a 3rd person shooter-RPG. The game centers around a race of action-figure like robots who had their planet destroyed. After coming to earth, many of them befriended humans. However most want to destroy everything.

Thats where you come in. You just encountered one of these little guys and his name is G Red. His mission? To stop the evil Borgs! Those are the bad guys...

--Gameplay!!!--

You can make a fighting force of up too 20 borgs. And you can have up to 30 (?) different forces. Whenever one of your borgs falls in battle, the next one in that forces line up enters the battle under your control.

Your goal in most missions is simply too distroy all enemy borgs.

--Controls!!!--

You can move in ANY dirrection by using the a analog stick. Most borgs can jump with the A button as many as 3 times befor returning to terra firman. However some maintain a boost jump meter, and others still are always airborn.

In additon, most borgs sport a B attack, for long range, and another B attack for close up. X attacks are allso equiped to most borgs. Some even have a MegaMan style charge shot for one of the two buttons! Keep in mind that all borgs have original attacks at there disposal.

Energy burst is a guage that fills as you deal damage to the enemy. Once full, press Y to give your Borg unlimited Ammo and a power burst for a short period of time!!!

---Feels like...---

MegaMan Legands + Transformers + Pokemon...seriously.

--My Coolest Borg Yet?!?--

That would be a throw up between the GIANT Fire Dragon or the Jet Hero. Fire Dragon basicly just stands there and sends Fire blast at everything that moves and is combustible....however my Jet Hero can fly forever and sports one heck of a Gun! Trust me he\'s cool...

Certainly, it sounds worth investigating, BlueSilver. However, in personal opinion, the gameplay seems a tad awkward. One bot at a time? And when it dies, the next one in your line-up takes over?

Forces?
From the way you so enthusiastically described this game, I figure it must have some degree of charm, or innovation, of some magnitude.

My 200th post!

Yeah, the fact that you swith over to the next guy in your lineup (Force) keeps the game moving at a decent pace.

So in other words, your saying that in total, you can \'contain\' 600 bots? The way I see it:

30 forces maximum
x20 bots per force maximum
-------
600 total bots

Im not sure what the limit is to the number you can collect, but I am sure that there are only 201 different types.
