Is time travel possible? And if it is, is it safe to even try? It could alter history just by going back in time for a split second. Or we may never be able to change history. Or worse than anything else, we may disrupt reality itself and destroy the universe! What do you think of time travel? Should we try it? Or should we just live today and pray we don\'t die tomorrow?

There are different thories to time travel, such as worm holes and natural phenomenon (some reports have been made of fighter pilots passing through clouds and ending up in the past or area similar to an area in the past, inconclusive).

I think time travel IS possible.

My theory is that there is another dimension for each year. It keeps happening over and over and over. that is how we remember things.

All we have to do is find a way to break thru the dimensions. then we have to find a way to get to each dimension.

Whoa, I have a theory like that! Only my theory is that there is a demension for every instance in time. In one I type t , another y, another p, another e, and so on. For everything else as well.

Nah, time travel isn\'t possible. To understand this, we must realize that time is not a real material, but simply an idea. A record and prediction of things that have happened, or will happen. Because there is nothing left of time once it has past, there is no way to recollect it. If time travel were possible, life would have to be a predetermined sequence, unalterable in any way but time travel. I, for one, see no point behind this. If we were to travel back in time, we would merely find that we were already there. In short, nothing would change.

I see no point in time travel, and furthermore, I believe it is ilogical.

Time Travel is possible, but we\'re not EVEN there yet.

The problem is... will we use time travel wisely? Or will it be turned into a tourist attraction? (Think: \"Timeline\".) How would you feel if people from the future were secretly observating you because they wanted to know what you did, how you lived... wouldn\'t that feel damningly uncomfortable?
There are problems as well. For example, if you went back in time to change something because you weren\'t happy with it. Every change, whether it\'s little or huge... will dramatically alter the timeline. For example, if you went back into the time when people were dying from an illness and you had the cure with you and you used it.... how many people would be alive? Quite a lot. They would have done more over the years. Other people would have gotten pushed out. Also, if you happened to kill your grandfather... would you still exist?

I\'m just saying that Time Travel is a VERY VERY VERY messy situation and has a great deal of ethnic problems with it. There are those who WILL use it for selfish purposes. If I wanted to go back in time to get a Commodore 64 or simply relive the 80\'s, will it really do me any good?

Well, there is the theory that if you go faster than the speed of light you would be going through time. Bear in mind that the speed of light is enough to go around the world seven times in one second.
