You may want to watch the highlights, use them carefully or they make a picture look sloppy. Also, remember that shadows in the hair are just as important as highlights.
It seems you have devoloping talent. Keep it up.

I think the hair is too wild. Perhaps a few spikes along the edge of the hairline and then even rows of spikes drawing inwards?

I dunno. It depends on the artist.

The ruffle on the t-shirt is a good try but it doesn\'t quite look natural. I didn\'t notice at first but the ear looks a little strange too. Kind of like a large hole in his head.

I noticed the problem with the ear, two, but I wasn\'t sure how to fix it. As for the ruffle, I\'ve never been good with that kind of thing.

I think the ear thing would look more normal if it wasn\'t quite so dark, and then smaller region inside there was dark. This (theoretically....) would help depict the folds in a real ear.

Thats good! How do you draw that stuff? do you just use a pencil and then scann it to your PC? or do you draw it straight from your computer?

Lemme give you a tutorial on how to color with layer, seince you don\'t know.

1) Have 2 layers, the top layer is going to be your ink, your black.
2) the bottom layer (not background) will be your color, you dont want to over do some colors, more is less


--for the sake of this, I am going to remake the drawing completely--

3)Big hair is ok, but dont be afraid to cover up the face
4) Watch the placement of tyhe nose according to the angle, in this case a 3/4 veiw.
5) for the hair, use eraser tech. to show the eyes
6) Multiply, put some color layers ABOVE the ink layer and put them as multiply
7) Match colors, don\'t make crazy colors!
8) Triangles, who doesnt like triangles?

the grey in this is because of the tranceoarency and isnt really like that.

I like your picture Elburito but I don\'t see how having your picture for an example would help BladeMan.exe on coloring this drawing since they\'re so different

No, The hair slye of Blademans was too wild and reserved for the top of his head, The eyes were too square and the nose angle was off, I put a happy face on him and new clothes, then recolored, Im just giving him osme pointers, soon he will be great at it (note I\'m not good at Manga or Animeish stuff)

It sounds complicated....
