He created him but then the officials were ordered to delete him because they thought he was behind the bug in Alpha (?). They tried to delete him but he used Get Ability on the leader, got his word and deleted him. He recieved a big slash though.

...which left a scar and is one of the reasons for his anti-human attitude.

The wierd part is up to MMBN3 BAss had 2000 HP, but in MMBN3 he has 1000, so maybe the destroyed BAss was the real one seeking revenge, but killed by the clone...

well, its possible that even the clone\'s power was enough to break the seal, but the cloned Bass, before he merged with the bugs collected by Shaun, was weaker than BassDeluxe in WWW area. So, a more likely speculation is that Capcom didn\'t think you could beat BassDeluxe from MMBN 2, so they weakened him. if it is the clone issue, then it is save to say that Bass probably replaced himself with a clone and snuck off to develop himself more fully, and assymalate(sp?) the power of Gospel. but, if it is the latter of the two options, just file it under weird stuff capcom does. Same way that megaman starts each game out without the ability to style change, and how Lan and Mayl can \"fall in love\" or something to that effect in each game without anyone explaining or finding it weird.

By the way, you do know that the Bass you face before alpha has 1000 HP, but the one you face in Secret 3 has 2000, right?

So really, from this point onward, Bass is a hybrid of a hybrid? because Gospel was a fusion of a Bass clone and bugs, and now the real Bass is a fusion of himself and a deformed version of himself...this just gets better and better, huh? so, then Bass\'s fusion addled him. He wasn\'t created to destroy, but rather made it his life mission to be destroyed, and his blind power came from Gospel. I would think that absorbing yourself would bring you all the pain that your clone felt, so maybe defeating him (for bass is never truely gone) was a bad thing! beating all the extra energy out of him probably reverted him back to being his human-hating, Navi-destroying, just-plain-evil self! also, have you noticed that in each game Bass gets the power of the main boss of the game before it? Bass got the LifeAura from BN 1, and his Gospel Cannon from BN 2, so what will he get from BN 3? anyways, d\'you reckon we\'ll be stuck with having to get back our styles, our NaviCust, and our PAs again next game? I do. what a shame:cry:

Yes, I think so too. From MMBN3, he\'ll probably get the machine gun thing alpha had. And yes, we will have to get all that stuff back.

Bass was the first REAL navi created by Dr.Cossack. Then when he figured the secret about Alpha, he was then ordered to be deleted. Bass escaped with a scar on his chest (he shows you in one of MMBN3 encounters) and he swore to seek revenge on all humans.

There\'s a lot more, but consider this the entire thing in a nutshell.

In MMBN4 he uses a large purple blast.

okay, but is this large purple blast like the alpha goo you get caught in, or is it just another shot like the others bass attacks?

It\'s the thing alpha does where the middle panel and whole front row are cracked and a purple beam shoots down the middle.

Ohhhhhh! cool! man, I hope they let us transfer chips from the 3rd game to the 4th, I\'m gonna feel awfully vulnerable against him without my GaiaSword or Mines. No matter, I\'m sure that we\'ll get even more cool chips in the next game *coughJune29cough*. Anyone know if Bass\'s attitude is going to be any different in this game, maybe a bit more randomly destructive? After all, he did go wacko in Secret 3. Will he stay that way?

Heh. First of all, Bass has got to have a huge background story, he\'s integral to both the main story line, as well as the optional activities after you beat the main boss. Second of all, he\'s a main character in two of the games, maybe three (I don\'t know about MMBN 1), so anyone transferred between three games that have only rough explanations of their predicessors is going to have a complicated history. Finally, the word you are looking for is \"headache\", not headack. (spelling/grammar nazi, I am. Do it again, you should not. Fight the dark side, you must)

In MMBN1, he\'s just floating around there in area 20 so you can get lifeaura.
