I just saw it today! My cousin took me there as a birthday present. Almost got hit by some idiot who doesn\'t know how to use turning signals on the way, too. It was awesome! This is something every fan of the Harry Potter series must see. The dementors and other effects are nearly flawless! Other than some inaccuracies and stupid choices of what to cut out, it was incredible! What do you think?

P.S. My cousin (who, along with about 100 other people, thinks I look like the guy who plays Harry Potter (which I think is very annoying since I don\'t think I do :madgo: )) said some girls who sat in front of us during the movie (and also liked Harry Potter too much, which was shown by the robe one was wearing and the fake Harry Potter glasses another one was) kept looking back at me while we were leaving the theater. I however wasn\'t paying attention, so I don\'t know if my cousin was joking or what.

i never read any of the books adn i saw the movies to kill time... they alright to see, i wouldn\'t buy them or anything though....

It was in the book, Breakman, but it was really very subtle verus the movie which only had ONE scene. That\'s it. =/

ok ok, i just went and saw the movie with my mom (how cool am i? ) my mom wanted to see a movie.... And it good and fine and stuff. i never read the book but i new like the key parts cause my friend gave me the answers for the accelerated reader test. (i passed it huu-zah!) that was like 3 years ago anyway. But what im wanting to ask is.....spoiler ahead....

The fat lady in the portrait, she got attacked by something or someone, what/who was it. the only bad guy in the movie was the rat and he was a rat for that part.....

Your lucky,only the 2nd harry potter book is on my A.R.(accelerated reader)list.

It was Sirus. He got mad about the password because he wanted to see Harry.

What was up with the ending? I can\'t remember the 3rd book very well, but I don\'t remember it ending that fast.

Yes, the werewolf was freaky, and I think that the person playing Lupin didn\'t look like the description did.

I saw the movie, and I\'m impressed with the effects, as well as how the story was shortened. I didn\'t like that it was shortened, but how they did it was okay. The thing I\'d have liked to see is to see more emphesis on the horrible relationship between Harry and his relatives. Then they could end it on a funny note:

That got him some good leverage in the 4th book.

agreed, without reading the book people seem to be really lost. a lot of people got lost when they saw the whole time-travel thing, too. of course, I have mini-conversations with myself about time travel all the time, so I get the basic idea. Is time already set? or does it change if you were to go back and change it?
