Okay so lets say that they were able to do this. How exactly would normal people be able to afford this? It sounds like it would cost $500+ per system unless they had horrible graphics and were extremely limited. Even then it would still cost too much.:cry:

Ok as much as I want PETs to come out still it costs enough buying an already made one so how could we ever afford to buy all the stuff you need so i\'m just gonna figure out a way to make a net navi with all the ideas listed here,and don\'t worry i\'ll post it here if I figure it out.;)

I hope there wont be any bad navis or fighting viruses... then again that would be cool just tell it to Capcom!

this sounds like an amazing plan. considering how many megaman crazy people there are in japan i\'m sure someone there would fund this. even the us has lots of fans so you could easily get it done. you just need the money.

VERY VERY expensive, but there are a lot of rich people where i live, and most of them are megaman fans (though they are quite snobish, so i dont like them) but they would all get one! and if i befriend one of them, i could get one too!

There is this program called gamemaker that I have heard alot of people using to make real PET programs.

I have a PET and they are nothing special. I mean 2 bit graphics and a boring battle system. What more do you need to know about it, Just ask me1:P

Pual: In english, there\'s these new \"cyber secretaries\" that I saw (now recently on the news somewhere, maybe even CNN), and if you were to take that technology and format it into a program compatable with voice-recognition, you would essentially have a netnavi, minus the appearance which would take some work to recreate. Put that onto a PDA or tablet PC, add in extras like touchscreen or bluetooth, and put a hefty price tag on it, and you have a PET, minus net-battles, which would probably require years of work to create a sensible system of.

gfdhdgfh: not that kind of PET, a more realistic one that would do things like in the game!

Heat Shadow Style: no, not that kind either. that is a cheap recreation of a PET used to pull in cash on an unsuccessful or downhill franchise. Not that MMBN isn\'t successful, it\'s just easy to sell kids cheap c*** and disappoint/disillusion them, making a few bucks at the same time.

A REAL PET isnt gonna happen for atleast another 50-100 years give or take 2 or 3 decades, they would have to develop a selfconcious program and if anyone has seen terminator 3 they know what havoc could be wroght by such a mostrosity. But the idea of a real PET is interesting.

And that new PET toy/videogame looks cool.

Listen, these guys made the Internet. They can make some sort of web for navis, and did you ever think about where the cord for the telephone goes to? i mean if its in a pc, what would happen if it got a virus? would the internet get destroyed???(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!) and theyre already working on some sort of a p.e.t. but its very \"HUSH HUSH\":)
