Who has played Tales of Symphonia? I got it yesterday. I found that it is by far the best RPG (or any genre of video games) ever. The battle system is addictive, the environments are beautiful, the voice acting is credible, and the characters are very well done. This may even be better than, dare I say, Ocarina of Time! *someone yells \'Blasphemy\'*

Anyways, I\'ve played over 18 hours as of this post, and am still going, in just two days! I suggest that anyone who can rent, buy, or borrow this game does so.

Now, how about some of you share your fellings on this game?

I can\'t tell a lie... i was hoping someone would make a topic on this Namco marvel. Quite frankly i put in a decent 17 hours into it since yesterday pulled an all nighter, probably gunna do another tonite. I haven\'t done this since I got my grubby little hands on The Wind Waker.

But i must admit, they do kinda \"mislead\" you into thinking every cut-scene is in anime. I haven\'t seen one yet. I\'m thinking their only at the very end or somthing.

And those Sylph\'s are somthing else. They gang-beat me everytime, the shame. Got to get better i suppose. But Yes, i do love this game as much a boy COULD possibly love a game. Namco has somthing going for \'em. I loved the fact that Namco brought this game exclusivly for G.C., and not those PS2 wankers. Anyone who has played Phantasia or Destiny knows that the game is gunna be good......You can\'t help but like Lloyd and Genis, and his sister Raine whom constantly abuses the both. Also i do like the realism involed. When Lloyd gets mad he gets pissed off and calls people bastards and goes of to stab the boss to death and not, \"Aw shoot, those creatons! \" like in other RPG game previously played. But now I\'m starting to ramble, *Runs off to go put in a few more dozen hours in* I\'m currently at the Tower of Mana. (highly original name)

I really want that game, if only I could get an easy $50

I could suggest an easy way to get fifty bucks, but I don\'t like it when people do illegal things.

Anyways, I have now reached the 31 hour mark. I would be farther, but I accidently fell back to sleep at about 6:40 am.

Now, please tell me that me and Gutter Mouth aren\'t the only two people here with Tales of Symphonia! Does anyone else have it?

Also, on a side note, the game has two discs. I fogot to mention that in my first post.

Oh BladeMan, it would seem that we are the only cool people on the board. They just don\'t know. Playing this game has made me start questioning, what did i do before this?

I\'m past the Tower of Mana now and at Ozenette. I gots all the characters and stuff now. But BladeMan, i know this is a real stupid question but..... how do you summon Undine? For the love of it I\'ve been trying for like half the game. I equiped the Aquamarine Ring, Sheena has enough MP, yet for some reason its it red......I\'m confused. Help almighty BladeMan, help.

I kicked up my hours to about a little over a day yesterday. Like 25 hours now I believe. I\'m paceing myself on the game, so it last longer. So far 50% of the time it doesn\'t work. Oh well..... *Runs to GameCube and beanbag chair*

EDIT: I used Undine, but i still can\'t do it on comand....she just does it whenever she pleases...

UPDATE: I just beat Volt and I\'m at 30 hours in the game.

Also i looked for Europe\'s release date for Zupp: Late 2004 - Early 2005. Thats what all sites i found said. Sorry Make....

OK, to summon, Sheena has to be in that Overload thing, as in where she\'s surrounded by what looks like a black cloud. However, I have no idea what this does for other characters. To make matters more complex, I don\'t know what causes the Overload condition. Sometimes my characters will start a battle and immediately have it before anything even happens. And, just so you know, you don\'t need to equip her with the Aquamarine Ring.

Also, I\'m on the second disc and 45 hours into the game.

Now, for what I\'ve been waiting to be able to say since I started this topic: I have seen an in-game anime cutscene! It doesn\'t have voices, but it\'s pretty well done from what I can tell. It\'s near the end of the first disc. I\'ll give you a hint on when you\'re near: When all Summon Spirits have awakened.

If you read the trainer\'s mannual i believe it says that the Overload Cloud is caused by taking a certain amount of damage, but i have started a battle and then it automatically happens so i\'m not sure about that. Whooo, anime cut scene, no voices though.... let down. Although, it seems i have a ways to go before i will get a chance to veiw it myself. It\'s something to look forward too.

I have no clue what the game is about...But the title sounds interesting, can someone sort of explain what the rpg is about? (Storyline and stuff)

Well, let\'s see... The story involves a person known as the chosen going on something called the Journey of Regeneration to increase the mana in the world and make the world a better place for everyone except the people who get hurt because they are evil and stuff. However, be prepared for, drum roll please, some actually unexpected plot twists.

The moral of this game? Don\'t trust the Wonder Chef. He\'s evil. I know it. Who else but an evil person transforms himself into paintings and candle stands just so people wander the world to find him only to get recipes in return? I don\'t trust him... He must be the true villian!

Anyway, I\'ve logged about 49 hours right now and I\'ve still got plenty of time left in the day. Just one thing. I\'M STUCK!!! I\'ve gone through every room at least five times by now! And I\'m not exaggerating! :madgo:

You know, i had my own suspesions about that Wonder Chef. He\'s got them shifty eyes. Never trusted the little rat. Anything that can turn into paintings at their very own wish and such and just waits for you isn\'t good. I belive he\'s one rank above Yggdrasisil.

Either way, im at the Ice temple now. (There\'s one in every game) That little water slide thing had me going for like 5 minutes. To get to the chest was easy but to that little door, took forever.

I loved Tales of Phantasia, and if it\'s as good as you say it is, I should be really impressed! Do they have Anime cut-scenes as well?

The new Tales game has a few anime cut-scenes. I just saw that one B.M. was talking about, that Mana tree was pretty cool. Niv, the game is out in stores. Most people who posted on here asking questions, your questions were already answered in before post. I have yet to see a cut-scene like in the opening of the game. I wanna see that!

I\'m not on the 2nd disk yet. I\'m pretty sure i will be one it soon though. Just got Kratos back on my team. Whoo! I got about a clean 42-43 hours on my file.... i think im behind for the number of hours i have. Trainning and cooking.

It\'s not an MMORPG, but you and three other friends can battle together (not each other). I haven\'t done that yet, but I hope I can in the near future.

-At approximately 11:10 PM on Sunday. July 18, 2004, I BladeMan.EXE defeated the final boss of Tales of Symphonia with a total time of 56 hours, 21 minutes, and 26 seconds (seconds supplied by game records)! Following the final battle was an incredibly well done anime scene with voices!

EDIT: Currently I am looking for side quests. I have found out that there are many extra costumes. However, I missed a few because I talked to Sheena before Genis, Raine, and Presea during a dinner party. Howeever, I still got costumes for Lloyd, Sheena, Zelos, Collete, and Regal.

ok, I made my easy $50, by sell ing games I don\'t like any more(I had more than enough, so I put a reservation on MMXCM), any way this game is so cool, and since I traded I got a free art book, really nice drawings

Isn\'t This game like a remake of Tales of Destiny and Tales of Destiny 2 for Playstation? It has the exact same battle system and you find Wonder Chefs and Make food and fight bosses. It\'s mad addicting. I want it!:D

I cant find this anywhere and have no idea where to look. Can anyone help me find what I need to use in unison with the book I picked up in the tower to cure these two people. Thanks in advance.:D
