well, i guess that doesn't count, i mean the game MAKES you use them, you don't have a choice, though... my darksoul used something like a darksword, but it could've been a custom sword...

wait a second, I still need some DS chips, How do i get them if they doen't appear in black earth as mystery data, i beat the mirrors, and collected mystery data and since i'm good i can't place a hole, how do i get them without being dark!?!?!?!
You get them in Black Earth. If there is a GMD in battle, it's usually a DS chip.

to be more accurate, you get them in the GMDs in battle. I've yet to come across a bugchain * outside of battle.

(spoiler You can find Forte OMEGA in blackearth 2 as a random fight once you beat him you have truly beaten the game and if you happen to S rank him yes it possible you get Dark Aura it repels all attacks below 150 and it REGENERATES. IF you ever wanted to feel like Forte this is the chip that'll do it. I am not even in black earth yet how do you get there?spoiler)
