Defenetly the X series sword style because Zero in this series uses his sabor the wrong way. I mean think about it The old Zero's' saber is shaped like a katana and the new Zero's' is shaped like a broad sword. They both use only one hand which is what you'd want to use for a katana for fast but weak srikes. For a broad sword you'd want to use two hands for strong but slow srikes.

It no shape like katana anymore.:P

Well I ment to say I like the X-X5 sword then. The straight one he gets in X6 looks like a yardstick with a handle.

A katana would be better than a broad sword anyway. Speed can easily overcome power.

Anyway, zero’s new sword can be used with one hand because it’s just like a light saber from star wars. The blade is made of light or energy, making it pretty light except for the handle. So you can be pretty quick with those things.




Yeah, that was the old one. It was also short too. Zero’s saber in z1 and z2 is just like a yard stick as well. In 3 and 4, the graphics were upgraded to make zero’s saber look more accurate.

the mmz sword is really good it can charge quite fast especially in U. mode

I like the new one because it has a long reach and packs a punch

Well I like the look of MMZ z-sabre because it looks awesome
I may be called a broadsword but I think it's more like a schiavona and he uses awesome techniques with it especially once you have the EX-Skills adn full level ups and whatever else helps so yeah MMZ style all the way

Personally I liked the five slash one in X8. I also like his regular combo with the Sigma Blade.

I'm kinda tied for both the X-X5 saber and the MMZ saber. They both act more or less the same gamewise.

X8 weapons all the way, especially the Sigma Saber. The D-Glaive from X7 can now do every special move, not just a water one.

The K-Knuckle and the Sigma Saber. X8+Zero=something to remember.

Here're me favs

1.Z-sbaer { X series. Got with some of the best moves }

2.Sigmas sword{ You get when you beat virus sigma in X8. Its strong, long o_o, and hardcore. }

3. Z-saber {MMZ}. You could actually charge it up like the buster and it got some of t3h best moves too.

4. Z-sbaer {EXE series. It just looked cool}

5. X* saber. YOu could do more than just three slashes. Up to five actually.

Its pretty strong

I liked X6 Z-saber personally. If I was choosing from the x series...

I'd go with X5. It has some the best moves like quake blazer, crescent slash, e-blade, etc.

I don't think moves matter in this topic, really. More the style of the weapon.

Xtreme 2 through X5 - Saber has fluid motion.

X6-X8 - Saber has rigid motion.

Zero Series - Different saber type.

The Zero Series saber is kinda ugly to me, and his X6-X8 saber is more like a Star Wars lightsaber than it's supposed to be. Sure, that kind of blade seems more logical in application than the bigger, more curved energy blade of Xtreme 2-X5, but it's not particularly creative.

Beam sabers in general weren't very creative after Star Wars and Mobile Suit Gundam came out.

But its not as cool without some cool moves.

It's not the point. The moves could be used with any saber, but it's the sabers themselves that we're discussing here.

What about them? Katana isn't a style, neither is broadsword,etc. so it must be how zero executes his moves with different sabers.

A sword is a weapon. It has many different variations... many different styles. The katana, the broadsword, the rapier, the saber, the cutlass... plenty of different sword styles.

I though sword styles are they way you fight with them.

Style is often referred to how one is taught how to fight with a sword, actually, as well as the design of the weapon itself.

Yeah, basically. I like the curved beam sabre better.

Zero is just awesome all together though, so it's alright.
