I did not see any other topics addressing this particular issue. So, I will ask a question.

What is your policy on using Dark Chips?


Personally, I dislike using them. I have used them twice (once to adjust to the storyline). On the second occasion I purposely did not save the game and allowed myself to die. I decided I would rather defeat Laserman again without the use of the Dark Chip (although I have not been able to accomplish that goal . . . ). I believe I wondered/was testing if using a Dark Chip may have been a part of the storyline again . . .

My opininon? Dark Chips are for people who can\'t play the game, they need to \"cheat\" in a sense because dark chips are insanely powerful. The only time
I used other than in the storyline was when I needed the last two digit of my hp to be 99 for numberball. SP Navi\'s are vastly superor to DS Navi\'s in my opinon, becuase they don\'t require dark holes for extra atk strength.
Well that\'s my opinon anyway....

My policy on Darkchips?

Meh. Since I own the actual cartridge I went Darkchip-crazy on a Rabid Old Monkey and, I admit, it was a blast at first....but it\'s insanely cheap...not to mention I feel it\'s better to actually use strategy instead of using some uber-powerful chips that hurt you at the same time.

(Plus, I like having Light Megaman and some of those glitches are terrible... Disabled NaviCustomizer= VERY BAD.)

Dark chips are B-A-D.

Believe me, Sacrificing hp for just ONE attack is far too high of a toll.

Capcom just doesn\'t understand only n00bs use them...

Newbie\'s (not n00bs) don\'t even use them!
