Ok this is stupid i know but you know how the stars right by your username,when you see the ranks i see some peoples ranks are different than others,i was wondering if that person changes the ranks or it matters on you r name,i just want to wonder how that is

Some ranks are there by default, and are linked to the number of stars you have. You can find the details on the board FAQ. Additionally, many people got a custom rank by requesting it in this topic.

Also, the number of stars under your name are based on the number of posts you have.
