Uhm...no?

first of all, this is not spam, it in the chit chat section, which is used for things not suitable for the other forums, yet straying away from spam. saph is just asking if someone knows about the problem with his (her?) comp.

1. who double posted? where?

and 2. no it shouldnt go to .Dr. Cossack\'s Lab.
\"All talk about the website goes here, as well as message board questions / comments.\"
where do you see \"technical difficualties\" in the description?

thank you and have a nice day.

Its definitly not your motherboard

I suggest you turn off your computer and let it set for about 4-5 hours leaving it open,to let it cool down with some cool air blowing on it.While you let it sit there,go out to a computer store and buy some air spray stuff and use it to clean out all the dust in your computer.Should help you fans run faster, and your computer much cleaner.

If that doesnt work, take it to your local computer/technician store and get it checked out for you.

I think you also need to check upon the Power Supply Unit. Doesn\'t it get overheated? Are those fans inside it doing allright?

after 4 hours, it gets over heated..and the fans run fine...but the motherboard kinda sparks a bit when its on...at least twice...its just the signal doesnt make it to the moniter mouse or keyboard....there isnt enough power....

Get a new power supply then. Not only that, your probably putting to much pressure on your hard drive which adds more pressure to your motheboard.Depending on how old your comp is,and what you put on it.You probably added so much new crap, and programs that will overdo your comp unles you upgrade, and update.

How is that going to be helpful to us giving you idea\'s what to do with your computer? Are you planning to build a new one?

What are your system specs (CPU clock frequency, Motherboard type, etc.), and how old is your computer anyway?

Now that I got my keyboard back, lets play.

There are numerous reasons as why your computer is flipping out, one may be it overheated, and or has bad sectors. Motherboards can go bad from shutting your computer off as well, how many times a day do you shut it off? Shutting it off, once, and then rebooting releases about 12 volts of electricity through your system causing things to short circuit, Computers, some as in not refering to labtops are meant to be kept on 24/7,, now if your connected to a modem and your afriad to leave it on, all you really have to do is disconnect yourself. Now on to your fans. Numerous reasons same as the voltage thing, they could be short circuiting, or wearing out. If you know a technition or anyone near, ask for a check up only, they should tell you whats wrong.....And starter? Please do you mean the power button? You can always try to open your case up and look in. As Punk said, please explain more and I can help more.

All you do as you mentioned should be fine for a computer anyway. And you\'re telling your comp is a Hewlett Packard one. Do you know it\'s type number so we can figure out what it\'s specs might be?

I can tell you that it would be better to have a computer built by yourself with all the parts you know things about. So if your computer is beyond repair, then I suggerst your new computer to be assembled with all the parts you know things about. It wouldn\'t be too expensive if you can migrate many of your old computer parts to the new one, though.

Not only, but also the type of it. If it\'s a DDR one, it should be fine being put on newer motherboards. If it\'s something older and there are no newer motherboards for it anymore, you might have to buy new ones of them.

It also helps much if you know what kind of processor you have (P3?, P4?, Duron?, Athlon? How many MHz?) and if there are still motherboards around where it can work on.
