Goldeneye 007 on the nintendo 64 is one of my all-time favorite games; EA\'s Goldeneye: Rouge Agent has very little in common with the N64 classic, but still manages to recapture some of its magic. The single-player mode is steeped in the 007 mystique, with an origanal storyline and a cast of characters straight from James Bond\'s universe. The multiplayer mode is even bigger and badder than its predecessor, and with the Playstation 2 and Xbox versions supporting online play, you\'ll never have to wait for your buddies to pick up controllers again. Step into the Rogue Agent...if you dare.:D

You make some good points, but don\'t expect to see my author sprite ordering it over the net. I thought that 007 Goldeneye was great, and I still like it today, but even with the technology available, it isn\'t what it could be

Actually it is and you really don\'t know you might buy it after i\'m done with it.

General Gameplay tips

The single-player mode in Roouge Agent is pretty starightforward and linear. In each section you will encounter a predetermined number of enemies that stand between you and the next area. To progress, you\'ll nedd to defeat the enemies and look for the exit leading to the next part of the stage.A walktrough isn\'t necessary; instead, I compield some tips to help you through.

Using Cover

Learning to use cover is probably the game\'s most important survival tactic. In each new area, immediatly sacn your surrondings and determine which parts of the enviroment can be used for cover. Once you are behind cover pop out every so often and take potshots at enemies. Once the immediate area is clear, quickly move to the next piece of cover and repeat the process.:conf:

Using this method, you should be able to clear enter rooms fairly easy. Note that you may not always be 100% safe behind cover; some enemies have a habit of flanking you from time to time.

Auto Aim is your friend

In a game where you rewarded for fighting dirty, auto-aim is one of your most useful tools. The enemies have imeccable accuracy, and turning on auto-aim will help you to even the score by being able to hit them accurately from long distances. Additionally, turning on auto-aim will increase your chances of unlocking content after completing each stage. The higher your accuracy rate, the more points you will accure at the end of the mission.

Seek out Body armor

Body armor acts as an additional health meter; it can be found in different locations in each stage, or it can be randomly dropped by enemies you\'ve killed. Try to keep your body armo meter full at all times-you never know when you\'ll runn into enemies with powerful weapons. If you run across some body armor and your meter is already full, try to remember it\'s location and come for it when you need to.
