It isn't a soul unison. Simply a 'skin' that changes Megaman's appearence and gives him some new abilities that relate to Bass. It's obtainable via Japanese e-reader cards if I recall correctly.

For those of you who dont know, i think Bass rules.

The real name for it is called Forte Cross Rockman. It's a special e+ Card that lets Rockman change into a Forte looking state. It will also change your Buster into a Buster that hits three different ways. That's called Triple Buster. When you use it on Team of Blues you get a Gold Appearance and it gives you a Charge Shot called Shooting Buster which shoots all the enemy panels. It's no normal buster shot, it's doubled to a certain amount to your attack power on your Navi Customizer. On Team of Colonel, the appearance is Silver. And the Charge Shot is Hell's Rolling, the wheel can roll stop and roll 3 times on the enemy and go forward to the next enemy. The best way is to be in the middle and let the wheel navigate through. That's not all it will give you for abilities, it will also give you HP+200 and Super Armor on Team of Blues, for Team of Colonel it will give HP+20% and Float Shoes.

You can also encounter Forte and ForteV2 with the e+ Card

Thats quoted from gamefaqs, and its pretty well-known, with an e-reader card you will be able to take on the apperence of a bass soul, but you dont have to go through the sacraficing chips and such, kind of like a bass style.

Hmmph. Why does Capcom INSIST on taking out all the good stuff? (for those of you who don't know, it was possible to get ForteSoul in Japan BN4.) It makes me want to cry...

Do you know if it is possible to obtain the eReader card in the US?

And as for the Forte Cross Rockman thing, the image doesn't work for me, but I wish it did. It sounds really cool...

I was there last week.....they don't sell E-Reader cards.

Just because capcom makes these games in japan doesnt mean they should take some fun element from thier foregin products. They like to get customer satisfaction, if they want it they need to leave the best things for the U.S too( not that I think the games are bad, but it would be cool to have the stuff japanese gamers get)

Thankfully it, and the other ones, (A Hubbatch effect and a BugFix one can be obtained.) can be gotten through Gameshark/CodeBreaker.

I myself have done so today.

Ummm, Mega X, the program Bugfix is in the game normally. You don't have to use Gameshark or a Codebreaker.
As for Morphman, that's really off topic and please don't use Caps Lock for messages.
I feel like going to Japan for these kinds of things, posting them all on ebay and then call it a job. Has somebody checked ebay for these things yet?

Yes, but using the E-reader system gets you that effects without the program, thus leaving the Customizer open.

people you can do the same thing if you use an action replay i know i have already done it although it only works for bn5 it looks cool and has cool attacks.

Bass Soul seems awfully (literally) cool!
Why couldn't Capcom make even more Evil Navis Souls for Megaman,
or an evil Navi who can also use Souls, but from the DARK side (DS) then.
BTW first I thought the DS in Nintendo DS meant something like Dark Soul, of course I was kiddin', but wouldn't such a character be great?

I read on http://www.wikipedia.org that they have MMBN5 for GBDS in Japan. Supposedly, if you put in that in the DS game slot and Boktai 3 in the GBA slot, you get Sol Cross Rockman.
