I\'m dissapointed in some regard to this; doing some research on GameFAQs\' respective board, it looks to be merely a rehash of both MMBN5 ToP and ToC together, with several new features as well as touch screen interaction.

I guess instead of purchasing BN5 now, I\'ll go with this. DS games, being on flash cards, are cheaper anyhow.

I don\'t want Protoman crowding Colonel\'s screen time. I don\'t need his smelly Soul Unison.

But, I assume that this will come out significantly later after the two come out next month, so I\'ll probably get both ToC and DS. Interesing information though. Although the lower screen seems kinda out of the way during battles.....But, You probably upload chips there.

Just a heads up, ColonelSoul is none too fantastic either, battlewise.

Regarding the lower screen during battle, it would make sense to have it not play a heavy role during the fighting, so as to not slow the pace, continuity, or make control awkward because of some reliance on the touch screen.
Another example of this is Castlevania DS; they will only be using the touch feature in specific cases such as puzzles and boss sealing, excluding it from main action gameplay.

that actually sounds better then the gba version it will have the gba version plus i like the idea of a pet menu on the touch screen

imo the touch screen can\'t add much to the game

There is only one hope, there is only one version and the Soul Unison AND Style Changes are in there with alot more chips, everyone needs more chips.

Now, I\'m going to make a (>!prediction!<).
It will be a WWW scheme.
Megaman will almost die/die at the end.
There hopefully won\'t be more than one difficulty setting.
There will be a BIG disappointment somewhere in the custimization.
A good ol\' Capcom fashion cheesy storyline.

Judging by the new trailer, which is just a revamp of the old MMBN5 trailers, the DS version is pretty much just both GBA games in one, with touch screen menues and the ability to jack in via touch screen.

seems more fun, but i have a PSP and will not buy a DS just for a few added perks, i still have my GBA which will love to see ToC or ToP.

EDIT: I\'m pretty sure that having soul unison AND style changes was just a rumour, but it would be pretty cool to see.

Well, looks to me like its the same as GBA one. nothign new, other than the Folder Screen Shot. If it is indeed a remake of the GBA BN 5, then i will be quite dissapointed >>;;
However, their may be some other features but....i doubt it....

[spoiler]Ok people this is how it works team blues and team colonel team up.During liberation missions you can switch between teams such as if you had been playing as team protoman you switch and protoman will log out along with everyone else on his team and colonel along with his team will come in.Other than that is it just a megaman battle network 5 remake for the DS.The controls are somewhat different as well such as instead of preassing L to log in you look on the touch screen and click on plug in.I belive L is now used to change teams.I think you also talk to megaman using the touch screen.So it is preety much the same but all the controls such as L makes megaman jack in,R makes him talk,instead all that is accsesed from the touch screen.In my opinion I think megaman 4.5 will be better so i\'ll wait on that but for all you who want it I think it comes out somtime in november.
