Well, this is a game that I just stumbled upon in my Nintendo Power. It seemed interesting, so I looked for it over the internet. Now I can\'t wait until August...
If none of you have heard of it, Sigma Star Saga is a new sci-fi RPG/space shooter game, involving a huge war between Humans and aliens called Krill. Basically, your character is a double agent who infiltrates the Krill and tries to get high enough in the ranks to get information about some secret weapon.
You get to go around on different worlds in alien armor, and I\'m not exactly sure what you do on these worlds except explore and find gun data for your ship. Obviously there is something you need to do on each world, I just don\'t happen to know what sort of thing that actually is.
Besides fighting creatures down on the ground, there is also a random encounter system, where your character gets beamed up to his ship and you start the random encounter. But here\'s the awesome part. It\'s not a turn-based fight (sorry for all of you that love that system), but it\'s a small (and completely random, which is awesome) space shooter fight! And apparently the bosses for each world are these space shooter fights as well.
Here\'s the site if you want to look. It\'s relatively small, but it has some stuff to look at:

Oh, and there\'s also a really good trailer at ign.com if you\'re interested in that.
So, anyone else excited about this game?
Edit: Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention... the weapons on your ship are completely customizable using gun data that you get on the surface. There are three different kinds of data, each of which affect a different aspect of your weapon. There are supposedly 30 of each of these, which gives you 27,000 possibilities for your weapon! And you can also keep 4 combinations ready, so you can switch between your four best weapons. How\'s that for cool?
