A few days ago I say the new War of the Worlds movie. I really loved it. It was a good movie, even though it\'s a remake. Definetly one of my all time favorite movies.

But anyways, what did you people think of this movie?

Funny timing, I saw it this afternoon.

I think that it lacked something. I wouldn\'t be able to say what exactly... The lack of a real introduction setup bugged me. It started all of a sudden, without any sort of build-up. At least, this movie is accurate enough to the original book, and the writers didn\'t change the ending. I was afraid that they would have pulled another plot element completely unrelated.

I can\'t say that I hated the movie, but I didn\'t love it either. I would call it a \"meh, not bad\".

I have to say, I\'ve never seen/read/heard any of the original stuff, although now I\'d like to... especially that radio broadcast that had so many people running scared back when they did it. Anyway, I really did enjoy it. Definately worth buying when it comes out, I think. In my opinion, it was very well done.

I am expecting it to be a so-so film. I haven\'t made my mind up fully, though, as I\'ll decide when I see it.

I have the nineteen-seventy-something musical version on vinyl and it is really good.

I heard it was really violent by US standards. I really don\'t know what that means but the people are saying that it\'s not for anyone under 12. I still haven\'t seen it so can\'t say anything about it.

All I have to say is wow. The SFX rocked but it would be horrifiying for anyone under 10. Note:Tom Cruise was the only real flaw in my opinion.
