Funny story behind that. (Not really, but still a story. Xp)

On most of my RP sites, I use CrashMan as my avatar for my admin account, so people think of me as him. Xp So, of course, all buttons labelled "Admin" must have the CrashMan image, if any.

If you want to follow the naming pattern of the games, that should be DCN-001, the DCN part standing for Dr. Cossack Number. After all, the games have DRN and DWN for Dr. (R|L)ight and Dr. Wily respectively.

Yup. According to this, Dr. Wily has 58 Robots to his name. (Including Quint.)

What the guy REALLY needs to do, is wake them ALL up, and have them all rampage at once...

Now THAT'S an evil genius plan!

No, the best thing to do is have all 58 bots in a very large Boss Fight Room. Then, when MegaMan shows up ecpecting 1 boss, he gets 58.

He then gets his ass handed to him. Simple.

And Wily...well does whatever he does next. I don't think he ever planned further than "destroy MegaMan".

EDIT: According to sources on the net, Bass' Model Number is SWN- 001. I can only think this stands for Special Wily Number.

In fact, wouldn't the "~Other Characters" of the Wily Bots be SWN also? Since all of them are unique.

Thanks for clearin' that up. I was wonderin' what to call 'em. 8/ They certainly aren't normal Wily Numbers, that's for sure...

~EDIT~

Actually, when I think about it... there have been others to come before him. (Enker, Punk, AND ballade, not to mention the Genesis unit and such.). Considering this, do we still call Bass #1?

To be honest with you, my Classic Series knowledge is pretty limited in comparason, to say, yours. I've never played ANY of the Classic games bar MM&Bass.

Okay, I got a (semi) solution: Wiki.
And to save you doing it, here's the list:

~Other Characters
SWN-001 - Bass/Forte
?WN-??? - Treble (S = Support)***Still unknown

Rockman Killers
RKN-001 - Enker
RKN-002 - Punk
RKN-003 - Ballade ***Number should be right
---
DRN-001 - Quint (No idea why DRN)
---
MWN-001 Buster Rod.G
MWN-002 Mega Water.S
MWN-003 Hyper Storm.H
---
***This one should interest you
DWN-Infinity - Zero

And there.
Not complete as I can't find anything for Ballade or Treble.

Ah well here are the Robot Masters

*Anyway, if Quint's backstory is correct, then he and MegaMan are one in the same, therefore share the same Model Number.

*Confirmed, Ballade is RKN-003.

Since Treble is a support unit I don't know if he'd have a model number. If I find anything I'll put it up.

And here are the corrections for the Stardroids XD
SRN-001 Earth (Terra)
SRN-002 Mercury
SRN-003 Venus
SRN-004 Mars
SRN-005 Jupiter
SRN-006 Saturn
SRN-007 Uranus
SRN-008 Pluto
SRN-009 Neptune

I thought I allready mentioned this... The list that I have up uses NEW serial numbers to account for Capcom's latest additions, and common sense. TimeMan and OilMan belong to Dr. Light, and thus pick up as Dr. Light numbers 9 and 10.

Why on earth Wily would continue his serial numbers where his partner left off, I have no idea. Considering they have a different label alltogether (WILY numbers. DWN), he could begin fresh at 001, hence the new numbers for his robots.

Same goes for the Cossack numbers as well.

Found this on Wiki:
Sungod (Sunstar)- A forgotten doomsday weapon discovered by Wily. He commands incredible power, but exists only to destroy. He refuses to obey Wily's orders upon being activated and, after shooting down the watching scientist, challenges Mega Man to a final battle. He is one of the few characters that have been the final boss of a classic series game besides Dr. Wily.

So I guess being a mysterious God of a robot he needs no serial number. Just make him AKN-000. This is Ass Kicker Number-000.

Meh.

According to Wiki, some of the Robots were incorrectly numbered in the game.

Maybe we should do a topic to provide a COMPLETE list of ALL the Classic Bots. Then X, then Zero, then Legends etc.

Just a thought.

Well, two lists really.

As Flare has stated, some of the numbering is just stupid.

Wily wouldn't carry on where Light left off, he'd have his own numbering.

So one official Capcom list (with the add-on of TimeMan and OilMan).

One list that actually makes sense XD.

ZOMG it could even be pinned! *eyes twinkle*

A robot in the second Jason series, PsycheMan. He has telekinetic power.

He's philosophical and a bit snobbish. He claims to be at one with the universe and beleives religiously that all events are pre-ordained by fate. Unless, of course, it doesn't go as he wants it. Then it is an inexplicable error that must be fixed. Xp

Just out of curiousity, is PsycheMan modeled after Command Mission's Dr. Psyche? I was just wondering because of the orb like surface of his cranium, the coat, and the design of the boots. It's all kind of similar to Dr. Psyche. Who was pure awesomeness, just so you know. ^_^

To be honest, I've never played Command Mission. Though I remember seeing some of the artwork. I remember that Dr. Psyche has a big-assed funky fro. Xp

So, no... not modelled after Dr. Psyche.

I actually had Wufei (from Gundam Wing) in mind when I created PsycheMan here, in his traditional white suit.
