It\'s two infer-red sensors which go on either side of the TV which measures where the infer-red beam is on the controller. That\'s not expansive. TV remotes use the same thing, only there\'s only one of them and they\'re wide-angled.

Well i\'ll try it in a store demo first though.

Hey beautiful people, you're better off trying to e-mail me than message me on here.

Sometimes the in-store demos aren\'t that good.

I remember when I tried the DS. They clearly didn\'t use a Nintendo stylus. It was metal and there was no plastic at the end. You can imagine what that did to the bottom screen. I was laying and I noticed it was chipping away like a chisle. I was like --> , but I realised that if the Nintendo one was as bad as that, I could just use a regular PDA one. (Of course, it wasn\'t like that, anyway, so :))

Clearly there's something there that I'm not grasping. I click the link and all I see is another Wiimote. I'm very confused here, am I missing something?

Look at the dates: 2005.

Yeah, it's just a Wiimote, but this was back when we were still grasping for details on the Wii (then-known as the Nintendo Revolution).

It was kind of a big deal.

"God" has that funny habit too.

Looks like I was right in one prediction, too: "this might be the end of many of the multi-platform games". While the PS3 and Xbox 360 often get the same games, the Wii is living in it's own ecosystem. Similar games to the others often show up, but they're usually handled by a different group using a somewhat different design.

Hey now, no need to bring God into it, anyways as far as the Wii goes, it does still get games that are also on PS3 and Xbox360, like ummm, I cant remember, oh yeah one game was Spider-Man Web of Shadows and umm, X-Men Origins: Wolverine I think. Not too many sure, but hey the Wii sucks anyways haha. It's not that great of a system in my honest opinion, but that's just how I think.

God is the name of a user here that also bumps 5 year old topics.

Has nothing to do with religion or anything.
