End of school!
Yes, my classes are over! Now, I have 3 full months to do more progress on all those projects I'm trying to do. Doesn't that makes you happy? This means that you can expect more updates in the next weeks.
More X6 news
That Mega Man X6 is looking more and more interesting... GameSpot made a preview of the game, with the current information. Here are the main details:
"Due to strong consumer demand, Capcom has decided to continue the Mega Man X series." - Wasn& ...
The E3 2001 is going on right now, and the information about the future games is flowing! So, I've done updates on the Release dates page. Mega Man X6 is scheduled for November 2001, Mega Man Battle Network will be out of the September 2, 2001 and Mega Man Xtreme 2 is set for a September release as well. I also made some updates on the Mega Man Battle Network page, but it's still uncomplete. More to come soon.
I was submitted a couple of pictures, so I openned a Fan Art section. There's currently 7 pictures there, made by Mega Man Ultama and Jonathan. If you want to see your work on display, drop me an e-mail!
Mega Man X6, Battle Network, Xtreme 2...
... all confirmed, officially, by Capcom themselves! Check out the page Capcom made about their E3 line-up! You get to see pictures and download vidéos from those 3 games. I'll add that information on the website in the next few days (I& ...
Old Updates Archive
If you scroll completely at the bottom of this page, you'll notice a new link: Old Updates. This will bring you to a page where you can view all of the news and updates I did in the past.
New release dates
I updated the Release Dates page with all the current information. I was silly enough to post about the Mega Man Legends for PC release a while ago, but I forgot to change it's date... This much-delayed game is supposed to come out on the May 15, 2001. 4 ...
My apologies for the late news. I updated the website yesterday, but I ran out of time to post what changed...
New Downloads section
Yesterday was the first anniversary of the Mega Man PC Website. The 6th May 2000 was the first day when I began to really work on this website. Thank you all for your support! As a little "gift", I added a new Downloads section. So far, it has a few wallpapers and the infamous Wily Tower Save State. You came here seeking the save stage? Get it now!
It has been confirmed by Capcom yesterday that Mega Man X6 will be shown at the E3 Expo this year. Capcom never replied to my own letter, but Bolt Kraken got his answer... Go figure.
Yes, it looks like it's true... We got Mega Man X5 in February, and Capcom is already working on X6!? You can see the line-up of Capcom games for this year E3 here. Mega Man X6 is listed under the Playstation games (yes, it's on the PSX!). There's no official word from Capcom yet about this. I wrote to them so they can confirm / deny this rumor. I'll tell you as soon as I get the answer.
I added a lot of things to the Mega Man EXE: Battle Network section today. You can now see more information about the game, as well as many pictures related to the Mega Man EXE figurines which are available in Japan. You can also take a look at the cards included with the figurines. Check it out!
I installed a new poll at the top of this page, so I know better how you feel about my current projects and ideas. Don't be afraid to vote! On another note, I removed the old Poll page. From now on, there will be one poll at a time, on this page.
Figurines
I imported from Japan some figurines about Mega Man EXE: Battle Network. Each figurine is in a box, and comes with a card about a character and a little candy. This provides me with some more information about the game and the characters, so expect an update of the Mega Man EXE section very soon!
Capcom Newsletter
If you are suscribed to the Capcom Newsletter, you got it yesterday in your e-mail inbox. On it, Capcom announced that Mega Man EXE will be released in July 2001. Th ...
I got a request for a chat room, so there it is! You can chat about anything you want to. I'll not be always in the room, but I'll drop by from time to time. Access the chat room by clicking here. Next time, use the left menu, as usual.
New affiliate and links
I added a new affiliate: Dustman's Domain. It's a small site for now but it will grow in the future. I also did some changes in the Links pages, to add some websites and other details. On another note, I changed the links to the Megaman Outpost to go to the real URL: http://megaman.retrofaction.com. I should have done this before...
Cassweb.net is dead
The Mega Man PC Website was a part of the Cassweb.net network. Justin Cass was getting too busy with o ...
Current Rockboard progress
I changed the title screen of the game today, to put it entirely in English. It's looking great now! Check it out!
New fax at Capcom Japan
New faxes are on Capcom Japan website today, with some information about Mega Man EXE. You can see 2 new human characters, and 2 new ennemies: Skull Man EXE and Shark Man EXE! This adds a completely new character to the list. You can see the fax here.
I added to the Message Board a section for you to report news related to Mega Man. Something new is happening? Report it on that section of the Message Board!
I've had some server trouble yesterday, causing many problems. What was the cause? My account was completely full.... The consequences? All CGI scripts were broke: the message board wasn't working, all updates are gone and MegaChess wasn't working. I've got a temporary fix, but I'll need to delete some files. I'll check into this in more depth this evening, but the MP3 archive will probably be scaled down until I upload the files somewhere else. This means: if y ...
I corrected the MegaChess scripts, so the 3 rooms are fully working again. Also, the readme file for Mega Man 5 for PC was not there, so I uploaded it (thanks Kevin). All old updates are there too, they just came back without warning... Go figure.
Everything should be fine now. Let me know if something else is not working properly.
Main page update
First, I forgot to change the banner at the top of this page (banner for my Interordi.com domain). It's now fixed, and looking way better than the old one. Also, do you see those blue headers for each update? It makes it even easier to separate the different updates, and it's so pretty :-) Before, I always found it confusing to read this page.
Mega Man 5 for PC download is back!
That file was lost during the website revamp in January, but I was able to upload ...
From GameSpot: "Citing debt of 38 billion yen, SNK has filed for bankruptcy. Aruze Ltd., which previously acquired an interest in SNK, began closing branch offices and lightening its inventory in March. SNK had filed for debtor's exemption under the Conciliation Act but decided it would file for bankruptcy before the exemption hearings could take place."
So SNK, after leaving the International market to stay in Japan, is completely dead in Japan... Many people hopes are turned toward ...
You MUST have noticed the new main page right? From now on, I'll post all updates here. Please, if you happen to bookmark my website, bookmark the FIRST page! It's http://www.interordi.com/mega_man_pc/. I need that for my hit counter to work...
I changed the hit counter on the main page. I was using www.counter.com services, but they are no longer free, and I'm not going to pay 20$ / month only to know the number of people who visits here. I'm now using www.bravenet.com services (good website, by the way). Also, I'm looking for some feedback, so I made a couple of posts on the message board. I would really appreciate it if you took a couple of minutes to go there and tell me what you think. To see what I posted, go t ...
Something new: I did a preview of the upcoming Mega Man EXE, so you can know a bit better what to expect in the game. It's still uncomplete, but all characters are there, along with a movie preview. Also, I added a link to see the introduction movie of SuperAdventure Rockman. If you want to know what is the graphic level of that game, check that out!
I added some links in the Links by Characters page. Those links were sent to me 3 weeks ago, but I forgot to put them up earlier... Sorry. I also removed the survey from the left menu, since I got all the answers I needed. Thanks to all of you who answered! In the next few days, expect more updates, as I have more free time to work on the website.
I'm currently doing a school project. We are a team of 5 people simulating a shoe company. Because of that, we need to see what consumers wants while buying shoes. So, I took the time to set up an online survey to get your feedback. Please, would you spend a couple of minutes to answer it? It's important for my Administration class. Online survey about shoes. Thanks! On a side note, I removed the ICQ status indicator at the left, it was always on Disabled...
Ok, I wasn't able to keep my daily updates running for long, but I'll do my best :-)
RIP Sega's President
Isao Okawa, who was the president of Sega, died yesterday of a heart failure. He was 74 years old. He recently gave a big donation (695.7 million $) to the company to help it to get over the Dreamcast losses. We don't know yet who will take Sega's lead.
Mega Man 5 for PC current status
I'm still working on that game. These days, I'm working on a ...
I added a little picture at the top of the menu to tell if I'm currently online or not. Sometimes it will just say Disabled, without reason... at least it's there. Note that even if you see that I'm online, it doesn't indicate that I can answer to e-mails and such: I'm online half of the day anyway :-)
Also, I uploaded a few more screenshots of the Rockboard translation for you to see where this is going.
Hello all! I was requested to specify that the Wily Tower save state was created by Havok, using Save State Master 7.0, made by Nightmare Zero. This neat software can be downloaded from Mega Man Masters.
