Bio: If I were to fully certificate the foregoing fragments in my life, I would commence said document with records of the many places I have endured throughout this existence, and as such, I feel inclined to cite the earliest of these various locations, for the earliest is the most prominent among stepping stones in a child’s lifespan. The opening of fall…Foreshadowed by weeks drenched and soothed by the pale-in-contrast calms of subtle winds gushing forth from the summer’s convulse, as if to dwindle ever-down into
a yet distinctive equinox with only the cause-and-effect of prior seasons in the balance. To the bisected latter half of fall I was born, and so I can only envision the portent of a soon-to-be winter betiding so many years ago, engendering the day on which I came to breathe – December 4. And by the end of that day, I had seen the sights that would foreshadow the rest of my life – From the weeks subsequent to my birth, to the first day spent in the luxury of my Charlotte, North Carolina home… The genesis of new life and the pattern conceptualized within that life’s proximity had emerged.
