Hi, I was reading about an article in a webpage (I dont remember which one :conf:), but there I read that in Megaman 2 for gameboy, when wily traveled to future, he went to the time when Legends series are held, and I read some rumors that when he traveled to that age, he made troubles there, and the Legends series started, what do you think about it?

The planet in Legends is Terra, which is inhabited by Carbons, which were created by the System, which Wily is not part of. In that game, Wily\'s a boatman.

EDIT: My bad, I thought you implied that Wily caused an event leading to the Legends universe. Still, there\'s also no evidence of his meddling in the Legends plotline.

Okay, now I have something useful to say: in that one game -MM2 for GB- Wily traveled rougly 37,283 years into the future (roughly), so even IF Legends and the series of MM, MMX and MMZ are in the same timeline (not the same time, though) then Wily would probably have gone FAR beyond the time of Legends. The boatman named Wily is just because of Capcom´s abnormal sense of humour. Or lack thereof.

Not to mention plot holes, urging to be filled.

Well as far as I know it , Capcom said something about quint being Megaman from the future... that is the biggest plot

It\'s hard to tell, really. We know the Megaman and Megaman X series are related, but Battle Network is kind of hard to place on a timeline. Worse yet for the construction of a timeline is Legends, which probably does not even share the same world as the other games. Therefore, when constructing a Megaman timeline, the only thing we know for sure is that Megaman X comes after Megaman.

Megaman and Roll weren\'t brother and sister? And in love? Heh.

Well, Legends can actually fit into the timeline, wheras BN can not.

There is a way to link in BN to the original series.

Lan Hikari is the grand-son of a guy called Dr. Hikari who looked like Santa, right? The name \"Hikari\" just comes from lazy translaters. The guy who looks like santa was Dr. Light.

Zero is still somewhere, still deactivated, as is X. Both are waiting (they have a timer built into the capsules they are in). Light and Wily settle their differences and Wily \"supposedly\" goes back into the Sci-Lab.

During the peace-time, Wily carried on with his robotics and Light moved onto electronics and developed Alpha, the proto-type internet.

All of Wily\'s and Light\'s old robots (MegaMan, Roll, Bass, etc.) spontaneously combust ( ) and then we come to that event in MMBN1 when Wily\'s robotics cease to be funded.

Wily leaves Sci-Lab and sinks back into his old ways. He then forms WWW and Light dies, leaving his data in Alpha (as protection from Wily, perhaps?) Did he know about Wily? Quite possibly.

So now we arrive at MMBN1. Wily is evil and full of hatred at the Lights/Hikaris and thus Lan Hikari defeats him and then Wily goes on to form Gospel etc.

Then, after all of this happens (Wily could be long dead), Wily\'s oldest remaining project awakens (Zero). The first Reploid awakens and starts destroying everything, driven mad by the Zero Virus (the same Virus in MMNT? Quite possibly).

I\'m not sure whether or not X is awake at this time. He could be. This is a century on. Sigma, the leader of the Hunters, led by X (perhaps) defeats Zero and something happens.

Somehow, the virus transmits from Zero to Sigma, and thus, the leader of the hunters becomes the leader of the maverics, and thus you have the X series, and 1 century on again, you have the Zero series.

I can assume that Dr. Cossak is a typo, meaning Dr. Cossack, who worked for Sci-labs and created Bass.exe (after Wily\'s creation?)

I think this theory is quite credible, myself. It also explains about X \"jacking\" into the Mother computer in MMXtreme o.0

I maintain that BN cannot fit into the timline. In BN1, Wily says that between a choice of network technology and robotics, Light\'s networking was chosen instead and that\'s why Wily went rogue in the first place. Since we are given no reason to believe Wily ever went good, I find that to be shaky at best.

Oh, and I believe the Rockman sourcebook says that BN is an alternate universe.

Wily succeeds in destroying Net Society, and then he makes robots, and one of the Hikaris grows a long white beared, like the granfather, and becomes the Dr. Light of the Original and X series? Could be.

Err... from my limited experience seeing Juno in Namco x Capcom, he doesn\'t reuse his level 2 body. I\'d say there\'s a high chance Juno can\'t reuse that body because it was only a weapon stored away in those ruins. Specifically designed, yes, but since Megaman blew it up I doubt Juno would have another one to use.

Unless Gramps was a clone like Solid Snake :rofl: but seriously it couldn\'t work. Honestly there is no way the main way you can tell is by formatting the time right. Gramps created Pharoahman I think it was 20 years before Lan\'s whole N1 grand Prix havoc which would mean that there is no way for two reasons
One, Like Dr.c. said you can\'t get that old in 10 years second, it would have been twenty years not ten at least and that would mean that he would have built Pharoahman during the wholeoriginal Wily wars, and on a third note Wily looks even younger in Battle NEtwork than he did in the Wily wars unless he was sin suspended animation for that long then he shouhld be dust by then and he wouldn\'t be able to do much damage then.
