i saw on gamespot.com there will be a sequel to FF VII with one of my favorite characters as the main character, Vincent Valentine, w00t. i have heard of it but never knew it really was a sequel or it would be released for the PS2.

i\'m waiting for movies so i want to know if i\'ll buy it or not

ehhhh? i thought that FFVII Advent Children was the official sequel to FFVII.

I saw on IGN somewhere that they will be splitting up the FF7 game into about 7 or 8 parts for different consoles, each containing certain portions and being called \"Final Fantasy 7: something something\"

Advent Children is set 2 years or so after FF7. Dirge of Cerberus (the new game) is a year after that. They\'re both sequels.

OKay other thing Dirge of Cerberus is a shooter that lets you use vincents triple barrel gun Halo style.

Lol, ya, sometimes they can pull some pretty wierd ideas outa their butt.... I actually think it might be good! I\'ll play it, cause ff7 is one of my favorite ff games. The FF7: AC thing is a movie, in case someone didn\'t know that. I didn\'t see it mentioned here.

It is not a sequel as in the next FF7 game. It is just storylines for what happens in the future.

i don\'t think it will be as good as FFVII but i hope it will still be a good game, more reasons for me to buy it.

1. some stupid cell phone prequel
Final fantasy VII and alleged FFVII remake for ps3
1: Advent Children (direct sequel
2. Dirge of Cerberus (Direct sequel to Ac)
that\'s what I remember I think there are four spinoffs not five if I recall.
