PS3... but I find all of them pretty impressive. Depending on how the Revolution turns out, I might have to start looking at it as well.

I\'m going for the Revolution. I\'ve always been a Nintendo fan since back when I discovered video games with the SNES. I don\'t trust the other companies: Sony\'s trying to make consoles that aren\'t game consoles and doesn\'t make them all that durable, and Microsoft is geared more towards adults, and that\'s just not what gaming is about. So I\'m sticking with Nintendo, to the bitter end if need be.

Even with the Tv remote controller you\'re gonna stick with it 0_o. I didn;t know that people could be such nintendo die-hards.

That controller is quite innovative. I don\'t get people anymore..they complain about no innovation, then complain about innovation.. I just think videogame junkies like complaining. :P

I\'ll be getting Revolution, if any. The other two aren\'t leaps and bounds ahead, so I don\'t see the point of them..

Probably PS3, considering there\'s already one game for it that\'s been announced that has caught my interest. Now lets see if it comes to North America..

The Revolution seems interesting, but I\'ll be more interested in it when I see some games for it that interest me.

It\'s definitely the Nintendo Revolution for me. None of the two others seem to have games to catch my interest..

I\'m going PS3. Nothing against the Revolution though; the controller does look nice. It\'s just that their thin stream of GameCube games didn\'t do much to impress me, and I don\'t particularly care for any of the Nintendo stars.

Anyways, why the PS3? I think I\'ll go with it because it already has a new Tekken announced, a new Gundam announced, and probably others. Also, if any new Nippon Ichis come out, it\'s likely to get them too. Nippon Ichi games make the world go around.:D

Do you have any idea what that sucker could do? DO YOU?!?

Dude, it\'s close to having virtual reality, like having your hand in the game. Being able to point and click, something that\'s never been able to be done on a console before...think about it.

It\'s crazy.

And if you need to ask which one I\'m getting...go play in traffic...

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Revolution for me! More fun times to be had

For those who are turned off by the controller, there will be a \"standard\" controller expasion (probably) released with the tv remote.

Quote:

Q: What does the conventional controller cradle/shell do?

A: This add-on makes it possible to play Revolution games in a more traditional manner. The shell is designed to look and function like accepted \"regular\" controllers, such as the Wave Bird. After its bottom casing is removed, the Revolution\'s free-hand-style remote is inserted into a gap in the middle of the controller shell. Gamers can then use the shell as they would a traditional controller, with a notable difference: the pointer remote\'s sensory functionality remains active. As a result, gamers get the best of both worlds: more buttons and two analog sticks along with motion-sensing operations. In a Revolution version of Madden Football, gamers might be able to use the combo to control players with the shell\'s analog sticks and execute pinpoint passes with the pointer\'s improved accuracy.

That really to me is the only thing that sounds appealing of the launch titles. Maybe they will bring the bongos back. *picks up Konkey Konga*

Obviously if I had the money I\'d get all three but I\'m gonna have to go for PS3. I\'m a Sony fan. Games like Armored Core, Metal Gear (and now the X series) games are on the Sony system.

A lot of people say things about the prices of the games we have now at the highest $60.The XBOX 360 games will be at $70 minimum,(at least that\'s what I hear) if it\'s true I\'m staying away from them and sticking to the old school consoles.:D

That could be true at launch, but I wouldn\'t be surprised if the prices went down eventually. Some SNES games first sold for over 90$ US!

Some of them still do (though that may be through rareity :P)

You say they are bringing out a GCN style controller, but what about the slots for the old controllers which make it backwards compatable? Will they work for the new games, or not?

I checked several sources and I wasn\'t able to get a definitive answer for this, so the question is still up in the air: can you use the GameCube controllers and memory cards to play and save your Revolution games?

Actually DC, there\'s a port opening at the top of the system that flips open and allows you to plug your controllers and your memory cards. Nifty, eh?

There\'s also that attachment for the Revolution controller that makes it look more like a GCN controller, so.

There you go.

I know that, and you apparently missed my point: what I don\'t know is if the Revolution games will be able to access those ports to save / load data and use the controllers, or if only the GameCube titles will access those. After all, very few DS games use the GBA slot in the system.
