I don\'t think there is a poll or a topic like this so I want to know which is your favorite Harry Potter book.

Personally I like the Prisoner of Azkaban but I also like the Half_Blood Prince.

I\'m not completely sure what you said to me in the first place, learn to spell.

I have read the English and Dutch versions of all six up to now. Save the Dutch Half Blood Prince (Halfbloed Prins).
I kinda like them, but each year Harry gets \'older\', you should be a year older too, since book six isn\'t really for eleven-year olds.

The thing I really, REALLY hate about Harry Potter, is being called Harry Potter. One guy at school used to do that to me, and sometimes still does. I a hate the friggin\' guy.

I have read Narnia. It\'s quite neat. But I think it\'s actually more for the younger, pre-Harry kids. Lord of the Rings is for the older, more reader people. I have read these two \'series\' as well as the Harry Potter books. All of them. Save a few of Narnia. But Harry Potter... it can be good. You like it, or you don\'t. That\'s how it is.

O...M...G! Not just double posting, but triple posting. AND trying to close a topic without being a Moderator. Read the rules.

On topic: I\'ve read all six books, watched the films and played two of the games. I do prefer the books as they are more expansive of the story. The films are good. The.Games.Suck.

I know how you feel. Since the first two movies and partly around the time of the third, people have been saying I look like Harry Potter, and not just people I know! I\'ve heard completely random people I\'ve never seen call say I look like him (keep in mind that this was rare). The last time this happened (supposedly) was at the third Harry Potter movie on the opening day. My cousin had taken me as a birthday gift, and we ended up sitting in front of a group of girls doing a sort of Harry Potter cosplay, as HARRY POTTER, not Hermione Granger. That was enough to creep me out. But after the movie was over and we had left the theater, my cousin said she had heard on of the girls say I looked like Harry Potter. Then again, my cousin likes to tease me and may have just made that up.

Wow, that took longer than I expected. Anyways, my favorite books are probably The Goblet of Fire and The Half Blood Prince. The Goblet of Fire because it has dragons, and The Half Blood Prince because... uh... plot twists! Or something.

BassGospel: Isn\'t that how it always is? Books are more detailed on stuff. The games? They\'re improving. But I can\'t say they are awesome. Just kinda great. Kinda. But not really.

Blademan: Yeah, it\'s really annoying, isn\'t it? A lot 12th graders liked to tease me with it.

Last summer I read The Half Blood Prince in less then two days. TWO FRIGGIN\' DAYS!! That\'s what you get during boring holidays: a lot of free time, nothing to do, and an increased reading speed...
The summer last year I read The Order of the Phoenix in about 4 days. But it wasn\'t as thick as the Half Blood Prince, though.

Actually, you\'re doing it again. A short, one-word post is considered SPAM, and not the meat.

Well, now, I like science fiction and fantasy quite a lot, so that automatically puts me with the HP fans. Once, when my mom had tickets for the third movie for a wednesday we all would be \'FREE FROM SCHOOL!\' we found out that I DID have to go to school that day. By the time my mom would pick me up, I told my teacher I had to go to the dentist. He let me go! But school would\'ve finished in about half an hour, so...

I <3 Harry Potter and I\'m 23. I don\'t care.

I read LOTR and that was very hard on my eyes/my head because the words are clearly strong and was not used to reading something like that.

Naria is nice, but I never got to finish it because I couldn\'t find one of the books... and my sister took her books back. Oh well.

With that being said, I first started reading Harry Potter when I was about 18. (At that time, the third or the fourth book had just come out.... I think.)

I can\'t decide which one is my favorite. =P I\'d need to actually decide this once the last book comes out. Ha.

And dude, if you don\'t like Harry Potter, don\'t comment in here. If you have to comment, state a legal reason why. Witch craft does not count and I\'d punch YOU in the face for that reason. (I know some christans who really loved the book. >:P They\'re aware that it\'s a work of fiction and is meant to be fun!) If it\'s the excessive caps in book 5, blame that on the editor. Whatever, just don\'t say that it\'s witch craft or \"I just hate it.\" (In that case, have you actually read the book? If you did and didn\'t like it, again, state reasons.)

Yes, I\'m mean. -.-

Edit-- And yes, I do see the movies. In fact that I\'m going to the movie this weekend. Woohoo! (I dressed up for the third movie and that was so much fun. I\'m gonna do it again hopefully. XD)

I didn\'t really like Half-Blood Prince all that much. Mainly because...., well this is shameful to admit...

...I was a Harmony shipper.

Not so much a shipper though, I never took up the sword and battled with other ships, nor did I make violent crusades against opinions. I simply thought there were sparks between the two.

Damn, this is really embarrassing.

Though, I\'ve been shipping Ron and Hermoine because they always seem to have \"married couple fights\" all the time.

Actually, Kia, John Paul II -the awesome guy that was the pope before we got that religous Hitler dude- even recommendes it to people. He said it wasn\'t \'evil\' at all. On the contrary, he said the books were about the battle between good and evil, like God vs. Satan. Voldemort was Satan, and Harry was like Jesus. He said that if children read the HP books, they\'d probably understand the bible and the stories about Jesus a lot more later on. He was really positive towards those books. He also really liked LOTR apparently.

So, JP deux, whatcha readin\' in heaven?

I didn\'t know about that bit of news because all I ever hear about is book burnings nowdays... (Great way to go about it, waste trees! ...not to mention giving JK Rowling more money for buying her books. LMAO.)

Well, not Jesus and Satan exactly, but yes, Harry Potter is a tale of morality. In reality, I believe it\'s a sin to get involved with Witchcraft/Occult, but this is a book. And besides, magic isn\'t the plot. It\'s an important plot device, but not the focus of the plot itself.

I personally can\'t see the problem with witchcraft. To me, the whole \"evil witchcraft\" thing is just another way the Christian leaders are trying to get across the message that all other religions apart from their own are evil. Yet another reason I am against Organised Religion in general.
