Anyways, I asked Aim if I could do what PUNK suggested last year..an oekaki awards! Do as you did in Aim\'s topic..just suggest topics for now. If you vote, you\'re going to have to edit the votes out and just post them later.


Artist You Miss Most (The Please Come Back Award) - For artists that have announced their departure, and you\'d like to see come back.

Artist That Needs To Draw More Often (The Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Award) - For artists that don\'t draw often enough in your opinion, and you want to see more of.

Art That Doesn\'t Belong (The I\'m Sick of Inuyasha Award) - The most annoying anime fanart theme you\'ve seen on the board this year.

Artist Most Improved (The Wow Are You The Same Person Award) - For the artist that has done the best this year with improving their art.

Most Drawn Megaman Character (The I Didn\'t Know The Fanbase Was That Big Award) - Of course, the most drawn Megaman character at the board (in your opinion).

Most Distracting Picture (The I Cannot Look Away Award) - Is it so funny you have to save it? So disturbing you can\'t look away? Or is she/he so attractive that you want to frame it? All will work for this category.

Best Lack of Color (The Monochrome Award) - Unfortunately, I don\'t know if we\'ve had alot of lineart-only pics this year.. Or if we\'ve had alot of monochrome ones. But I guess I\'ll leave it here anyways. o.o

Best Critiquer (The Thanks For The Help Award) - Please remember..critiquing isn\'t \"this looks dumb\" or \"that is colored wrong\". The more detailed, and more helpful, the better.

Best Themed Picture (The I Tag Along Award) - For those who made the best use of a board drawing theme, spontaneous or planned!

Artist Most Devoted (The I Draw Nothing But Megaman Award) - For the artists best known for sticking to the boards main theme.

Yeah, I was going to do one for best theme..but since we only recently started.. Your idea is better of course Doc, and I\'ll add it.

You can\'t post topics on the Oekaki board... so posted there, this would be spam. Besides, this is as much \"Chit-Chat\" as anything else.

I\'ll have to think about who gets each award, I always forget people\'s pics. I\'d say maybe we could have a \"Scary Pic Award\" or a \"Best Perspective Use.\"... perhaps?

I love this idea! Sometimes I sort of feel like the oekaki board is a little neglected, and most of all I like the fact that you stayed away from the \"best artist\" sort of stuff and went more for themes. You did a good job picking them, too. I\'m thinking maybe there should be an award to the artist most faithful to sticking with the Megaman theme? Or perhaps the most humorous picture? Just throwing some ideas out here; not that they\'re any good.

Yay! It\'s up. I\'m sure it will probably go more smoothly than mine; it appeals to a more select crowd, so there\'s less room for error.

Besides an artist we want back, why not have a \"best returning artist award?\" Or maybe \"most idolized artist award,\" which wouldn\'t be exactly like a best one, just would rather ask who\'s style you\'d like to have. I know there\'s a ton of styles I want. Maybe something generic like \"longest oekaki chain award\" for the artist who did the most pictures on dates close together, like one a day for a while or something (or does that once again encourage rapid posting?). Maybe an \"insomniac award\" for those who always post their pictures late at night (UE comes to mind).

That\'s all I can think of for now. Go Go OEKAKI BOARD!...

Most of us frequent oekakiers can remember fairly well who\'s been drawn most often (sorry, I guess I shouldn\'t think for everyone; I can, at least). Or at least, I have an idea. Of course, it would usually be one of the different Megaman forms.

Artist that needs to draw more often - Ultimate X (well, he still draws a decent amount, but I still want more! ^_^;)
Art that doesn\'t belong - Link, agh, overrated
Artist Most Improved - Azumitaiko\'s gotten very good pretty quickly, so Azimitaiko.
Most Drawn Megaman Character - Megaman X
Most Distracting Picture - How about your newest Nightmare Zero? Awesome arms, man. So I say Nightmare Zero 4.
Best Lack of Color - ....Barrel? Nah, I\'d say DudeGuyMan\'s Dr.Wily pic.
Best Critiquer - Rioni Riushi, man she\'s a good critiquer! I think pretty much every pic in my gallery since summer has a useful 2-5 line comment on it from her.
Best Themed Picture - Rakuraku\'s Christmas one was cool.
Artist Most Devoted - You maybe? You\'re still around since the beginning of the board.

It\'s a shame I never knew a Zazer, and I guess they were lost when the first board was wiped. Is that it, Dr. Cossack? I just couldn\'t find a profile for him/her.

And yeah, I liked Zazer alot..her style was cool. And I think she thought Necro and I were the same person.
