Look, Rowling is a creative mind, but that doesn\'t mean she created the entire mythology herself. In fact, somewhere between 2000-2003, I bought a book that actually talked about where certain things in her book drew their roots from.

Well, Noah\'s Ark is only in the Bible, but the worldwide flood is recorded in most--if not all--early civilizations, IIRC.

The flood thing happened but the whole \"God punishment\" thing was made up by Cardinals to basically get across the message \"Do as we say or God will do this and our word is his\" :rolleyes: That\'s organised religion, for you.

(COme to think of it, they were probaly Jewish, who said that, because it probably predates Christianity, but still, the effect is the same)

And Mega X, please don\'t take my attacks on organised religion personally. Wherever you have religion and politics (it\'s amazing how often these two cross) you have those willing to exploit it. Most major religions are marred by corruption and hypocrecy.

Actually, my cat used to like water.

Until some little 5-year-old bitch almost accidentally drowned him.

Some cats like water but most hate it.

All you have to do, is start washing the cat when it\'s very young..and there\'s a much better chance it\'ll get used to it. But of course, there are some varieties..like the Turkish Swimming Cat, that are born to love water.
