I loved \"ICO\" so \"Shadow of the Colossus\" was an obvious buy. When I first played the demo, it was not what I was expecting. Still, I grew to love it also. Man, I love the art style....
I\'m one of the many who thinks SotC is a prequel to ICO. But...

I do not believe Momo turned into the Dark Queen. Why would she be? Not only she raised a horned boy (which I think she did know it was Wanderer) at the end of SotC, she also couldn\'t get out of the lands of Colossi (it was surrounded by stone walls and ocean. Then again... where did the female side of Dormir go at the end of the game? (Wanderer received the male side and turned into that demon.) If I think Momo didn\'t receive the other half, how did female Domir escaped?
Dormir is actually \"Rimrod\" spelled backwards. Old Rimrod was the guy who built the Tower of Babel (symbolized as the Castle/Tower in the game) in the Bible. There are other references but I don\'t remember any more important ones. I don\'t know what the hawk (in the beginning and ending of the game) symbolizes. I know it\'s a symbol of some sort...
The ending was very bittersweet (and not to mention conflicting emotions).

It leaves Momo left in a place that she could live and survive in, complete with hopeful music. Then ends with the a haunting cry of the hawk flying into a dark storm with no music, just the wind.
I loved it because of that. I\'m so sick of happy endings...
I told myself that I will not use any form of help when playing this game. And I did just so. It feels so awarding not using GameFAQs.

But I did check them after beating the game. I didn\'t know about the lizards and fruit before. I also didn\'t know that you could pet Argo, hang glide on the hawks, or swim with the fish.
To pet Argo, have nothing in your hands. Use the circle button when close to him.
To hang glide or swim, get close to a bird (when they get low to the ground) or to a fish. Press and hold the grab button (I forgot the button symbol). Beware: you could die from hang guiding because the birds will drop you whenever they feel like it so watch out for cliffs and flying too high up.
