Let me further explain my post. I do believe in Friday the 13th to some extent. I don\'t believe that I will have anything out of the ordinary happen. But I do believe that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day for some, because they think so. Because they believe it, they get anxious. The high level of anxiety causes accidents and illnesses.

So in a sense, maybe unfortunate things will happen to me, but they will be because of someone else\'s anxiety with regards to the day in a sort of self-fufilling prophecy.

Friday 13th is unlucky because 13 people sat down at the last supper on Good Friday (twelve deciples+Jesus).

Black cats aren\'t unlucky. It is lucky for a black cat to cross your path and leave you be (ie, not attack you or cast a spell on you)

Back on the subject of Christianity and Friday 13th, then, if Jesus died so that humanity would be saved from enernal damnation, shouldn\'t Friday 13th be lucky?

The mischievous Loki gate-crashed the party as an uninvited 13th guest and arranged for Hod, the blind god of darkness, to throw a branch of mistletoe at Balder, the god of joy and gladness. The date is also well-known in the motorcycle (biker) community: since 1981, motorcycle enthusiasts and vendors gather every Friday the 13th in Port Dover, Ontario, Canada.
