The Castlevania series has been good to me so far, and Dawn of Sorrow for the DS is no exeption!
let\'s talk about souls, strategies and other sh$# like that.

I love the music in DOS: some of it origionated (as far back as I know) from Super Castlevania IV for the SNES!

Actually, the soundtrack has remixes from Castlevania 1, 2 and 3 from the NES too. Any Castlevania game that gets released these days has to remix at least the track \"Vampire Killer\", as if it was compulsory. I wonder why that track is SO popular. It\'s good, yes, but that much?

I also have nintendogs and have started neglecting them on accident....im very bad. I play castlevania to much. It is the greatest DS game ever!!! if you own a DS and don\'t have it, buy i know! And if you don\'t own a DS then buy that know and then buy castlevania!

I (VERY luckily) found Castlevania at a local shop for used games a few months back. My town NEVER has good games like this!

anyway, my personal favorite souls are
Amalaric Sniper
Skull Archer
and Dead Crusader

it\'s a very nice combo to use against Menace.

DOS Rocks. I beat it on easy and hard in a week. I didn\'t sleep much that week.

Play the game once through get all the souls and the Chaos ring then on your next record use all the boss souls to make the ultimate weapons.

Playing in Julius mode is kinda boring but if your looking for a challenge then this is your mode.

My favorite song is from Castlevania 2 Called \"Bloody Tears\".

I recently bought the Castlevania Double Pack featuring: Aria of Sorrow and Harmony of Disonnance (or something like that). Yet, Dawn of Sorrow can\'t see it, oh well, I guess that the other Castlevania game is the culprit... pretty cool though.

On topic, I definitely want to get that game. But when I stopped by the game store they didn\'t have it. :(

Totally off topic, now, sorta... Is it just me, or do Game companies producing games for the DS seem to be trying too hard to pin the DS name on their games?

Think about it...

Advance Wars: Dual Strike?
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow?
Lunar: Dragon Song?
Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits?

And it doesn\'t end there. I\'m sure you guys have seen more games like this. Xp

Just thought that was worth a mention...

well it\'s just like the GBA; there were HUNDREDS of \"blahblahblah Advance\"s all over the place! I guess the DS is no different...

on topic: My personal favorite song has to be a tie between Piercing Battle Fury, Into the Dark Night, and The Beginning. As far as the Illusionary Song goes; I prefer the Castlevania Circle of the Moon version better. (suddenly reminded of the dead Cirlcle of the moon topic I made about a year ago)

Off-topic reply...

Many SNES games\' titles were beginning with \"Super\", while the N64 had it\'s share of titles ending with \"64\". Even the GBA had several games called \"Something Advance\". Personally, I think it\'s fun how publishers find a way to quickly connect their games with their systems, and I\'m all for it!

Konami makes the best music for these games.:D I even catch myself whistling Castlevania tunes as I roam the halls of my school!

Huh... not bad, some of those I\'ve never even HEARD of...*looks at Castlevania DOS and grins wolfishly* I like Gergoth, the thought of running around destroying stuff with an energy beam that I can summon from the palm of my hand really seems to appeal to me:devil:

As for the \"D.S.\" games, let\'s not forget Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls.

The Vampire Killer song rocks; I believe it to be the most addictive video game music track ever written. The DoS version isn\'t the best (I prefer the CotM version), but yeah, it\'s still a cool track.

I\'ve heard the game is like Symphony of the Night, so that\'s good enough for me!

*Happens to own Sotn.*

That game RAWKS...

Your main character? ALUCARD.

AL-U-FREAKING-CARD, Y\'ALL!!!

Oh yes, Richter is an unlockable character, too, but you can\'t fight Dracula as him. :( Boooooo...

((The opening doesn\'t count. It\'s just a recount of the events from the previous game.))
