Not sure if this is much of a fact, since it's varied over the years:

In 2000, Bill Gates' Gross Domestic Products are valued at $27,954,224,169 US. According to the US Census Bureau, there are 760,000 homeless people in America. Bill could give all of them $36,782 each. According to World Vision, it costs $240 to sponsor a child for a year. That means that Bill could save 116,475,934 of the children. Of course, there are only 58.5 million people (including adults) in all of Ethiopia.
