There\'s only one thing that bothers me about being proud of being in a religion...Most christians are christians because their parents had them baptised. They didn\'t choose to be christians, someone else chose for them(and yes, I know that at one point in history, you had to be older to get baptised...but w/e). How can you be proud of something you had nothing to do with?

Nothing I had to do with? I used to HATE hearing about god. I made the choice on my own to become Christian. And you guys shouldn\'t be proud of it. Your not supposed to because boasting is bad. Your not supposed to boast that your going to heaven just because your Christian.

the last five years i\'ve been to church more than the 12 years before those.

2 friends, my great-grandmother and my grandfather died.

one friend and grandfather died because of cancer, and my GGmother of age, 100 years is not bad is it, and my other friend died after a car accident.

well i don\'t really care about anyones religion, it\'s their believe and nobody can mess with that.

Errrm, my true religious stance is so complicated at the moment, I\'m just going to say Agnostic.

Anyway, it is often said by Christians that non believers will go to hell. In fact, there\'s no religious idea I hate more. It just seems so...snobbish. So strange that God would possibly send the majority of people who ever lived to burn for eternity for not believing something which no one really knows the answer to. Many of my friends are Athiest and I just can\'t believe that if Christianity is true, they are all going to spend eternity in agony, despite the good people they are.

I hate religion. I want to believe their is a God, that there is something after death...but I hate all religion. Religion, IMO, is a way of controlling those who cannot think for themselves. But that\'s just my opinion.

Oh yeah, the Christian Church is one of the biggest land owners in the world, with huge cathedrals, churches, and pretties to decorate themselves and the churches with...
And they want OUR money. Go figure that out.
