I think I kind of know why the members who have been here for a while act the way they do.

You see, back when I joined, I was alot younger. I\'ve been here for years. I love this board and always have, but if you look back at my first few posts and the post of several other long term board members you notice something...

Almost ALL of us used to be silly. We all used janky grammer. It\'s just how we where.

And over time, we bounced trends off of each other, learned the ways of IO, and slowly morphed into board members with something respectable to say.

--Jump three years into the future---
New members show up in the same boat we came over in. S.S. Calmwaters brought us a fresh batch and instead of seeing our old selves in new faces, we saw people who where just stupid. But that\'s not the case! We just need to be the bigger man/woman/ball of gas thing and show some patience, like we where shown when Docter C. first layed eyes on this poor forsaken lot!

Lay down your arms!
Take into your embrace the fools, the poor, the lacking! Give them mercy and understanding! Mold them into who you wish them to be!

I guess it is too much these days to assume intellegence from the new guys... (shrug) What can ya do?

Well, that\'s the thing though.

In every new batch we will always have the Megawes\'s, Spiders, unleashthespider\'s, and such.

There ARE some who show some kind of intelligence, I mean even Axl Z here can type well enough if he takes the time to do so, and he can also follow rules. Azreal is insane but sometimes at least he knows when to shut up.

But the problem is that they both have a great tendency to spam no matter how many times you tell them what it is and how not to do it, and the alternatives. *shrug* One of these days the alternative might be the ban hamster.
