I saw an advertisement for this game a week or so back, and y\'know what my response was?
I LAUGHED.
... this isn\'t to say that the idea is laughable. I\'m actually considering getting the game, it looks like fun. But wow, Peach FINALLY got a game to herself, and it looks just as I imagined it would. The coincidence is almost hilarious.
So anyone out there with info on the game?

InactiveI haven\'t personally played the game, but my fiance has it and he loves it, and I watch him play it. Here\'s what he has to say about it-
\"Well, it plays like any other 2-D Mario game. It\'s kinda nice having an actual weapon- that\'s an umbrella... that you can charge up. Changing th emotions in different areas to solve puzzles really makes it unique. The boss characters- each one have been different and unique in how you fight it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes the old 2-D Mario platformers, or anyone who likes platformers in general.\"

Anyways I played it in a store yesterday the whole mood swing battle thing is funny, but really quite mocking of women. The whole beat bowser concept is just really messed up thoguh IMO.

Anyway, part of the concept of the game, though is, that everyone\'semotions are running wild because of some... I think it\'s a magic wand or something. So a lot of the bosses- male bosses- have mood-swings, too. ^^ I don\'t think it\'s really mocking of women, in that case.

This game does look pretty fun, the commercial they played for it was funny, it had a bunch of princesses in a boot camp.
Looks like Peach gets to save Mario for once.

Well, I say it\'s about time Peach got her own game- you haven\'t been able to play as her since Mario 2. (I always played as her there- I could float!)

I might pick this one up, however, I might not; I have a $70 Driver\'s Ed fee to pay, and I\'ve mentioned the \"condition\" of my town as far as good games go, so... Maybe...

The game catched my attention ever since I heard of it, but I\'m not sure yet if I\'ll buy it: I\'m afraid that I could end up with a game that was too focused toward girls. It\'s not the whole \"pink & flowers & fluffy\" theme bugging me: it\'s the difficulty level. Apparently, the game is quite easy.
On a side note, I don\'t understand why this isn\'t a GBA game. It doesn\'t look like it needs the DS\' special abilities anywhere. You could use a button calling a menu to select those four emotions!
